**Official Game-Day Thread** Texans at Patriots, Sunday Sept 24, 2017!!

O'Brien should've gone for 2...what's the difference in being down by 1 or 2? FG covers the difference either way if they fail at the 2 point conversion.
Because if you miss on that low percentage play and the Pats score again, you need 2 scores instead of 1. Way too much time left to do 2 there.

Twice today the Patriots have punted in situations that warranted a 55 and 56 yard field goals. Do they not have a kicker with a strong leg or what? That's a bit odd to me. Usually teams attempt a field goal in that range. It's a bit on the high end but some kickers can make it from 60 much less mid 50's.

Maybe he would rather see his defense stuff our rookie qb so they get good field position rather than kick and miss and give us good position.

We have a QB that can move the ball and the Pats don't want to risk a short field? Only thing I can think of

Their kicker has already missed a few kicks this year. Belichick is a defensive coach and probably would rather pin the rookie deep.

I must be in the minority but I actually like what Watson brings to the 2-pt conversion. I think the odds would favor the offense.

I don't understand replay if you still can't get the call right.
The NFL needs a strict rule on what defines as the ball being out of a quarterback's hands before a knee or arm is down. It should be like the NBA when a player tries to beat the clock. If any part of the ball is still touching the player's hands or fingers, it's not out in time.

It looked like Brady's other arm were already on the ground (his elbow was clearly touching the ground) while he still had fingertips on the edge of the ball with his other hand. But most of the ball was coming out.

Still looked like he was down to me though.

What the ****? Did you just start watching this team within the last three years or something?
Gotta admit, man...its very exciting. When was the last time our offense went toe to toe against the Pats. Never

I'm just challenging your assertion that it's the most exciting Texans game you've ever seen. That's patently false unless you started watching very, very, very recently and even then it's debatable.

Want too how Watson responds when teams have some tape on him, but so far I'm very impressed. Enjoying the ride.

See that would apply if he was one of these guys who ran the ball to make plays. He's certainly done that today, but he's making plays in the pass game also

Excuse me for going off topic with this but have you guys seen the stats for Case Keenum with the Vikings? It might be an aberration or it could mean that he has found the team that suits him best and there will be more to come.
Eh. He'll be forgotten after a while buddy.
A nice little boost and flavor of the month is all.
