The Houston Texans are the #10 rated front 7 in terms of stopping the run, allowing 82 yards per game when on the road. New England, on the other hand, rates #10 this week in generating rushing yards at home.

We sure as hell didn't look like no top 10 in the opening game against the Jags. This is going to be a massacre! I hope I'm wrong, but O'Brien and his "system" (whatever it's supposed to be) is trash!

The Texans and Pats have met 5 times in New England since the Texans entered the league in 2002, and Houston has been absolutely killed each time, with an average losing margin of 23.8 points.

Outside of the Texans circles, many of our players could be considered to be the same.

1 1/2 hours to game time. Man am I glad this is and early game. Waiting for those late games gets nerve racking and if you're going to get beat, it's best to get it over early rather then staying up late to feel that disappointment. I hope the Texans put up a good fight at least. A win will be much better though.

GO TEXANS!!!

Any word on what the team will be doing during the anthem? Steelers won’t be on the field for theirs.

I respect the Jags owner for standing w his players.

imo the defense needs to put on the Brady pressure. Offense well it first goes to the OL level of play. TEs some are back now. RBs should use more Foreman and mix it more with him and Miller. Meanwhile Irvin does a little of everything. I think Watson will show more pocket presence but he is very mobile. STs need some plays.

I'm rooting for them boys on Kirby. My fingers are crossed, my good luck rituals performed. I'm hoping against hope the impossible happens.

But I still think this turns out ugly for us.

Mancz is getting his shot today. Hoping he takes off running...after the snap of course. Wouldn’t want him false starting.

I believe this game will be closer than most think. I believe the theme from this game will be, “If we had a competent special teams, we would’ve had a shot at winning.”

Texans game and the Star Trek premier tonight, two must see things on my list for today. I wonder if I'll like either of them?

Is Mike Vrabel ready for this big game?
I hope he dials up a lot of exotic blitzes!

We need to hit Tom Brady early and often.
If we sit back then Brady will pick us apart.

I'm trying to stay calm after our first offensive series. Because I believe in our defense. They sucked Week 1 but woke up in Week 2. They should be dominating in Week 3.

Sigh. Third down. We miss Brady by a hair.
Need to get there just a tick faster.
He burns us with that beautiful deep pass.
