If you pass on the four best OL (Lamp,Robinson, Ramczyk and Bolles) at #25, the rest that likely fall to you at #57 are not really starting quality guys.
Yes we need a QB but - you can likely get a QB at #57 who will not be far from the top four in Nathan Peterman whose game translates well to Texans system and none of the QB's in this draft are starters with the possible exception of Watson.
You simply must get a quality OL who can play RT, in the first.
If there is a top tier guy available at #25 (other than OL), there is the distinct possibility that FO takes him regardless of his position (BPA).
This is also a prime draft to trade back and get an extra pick or two - however, I have a feeling none of the top four OL fall into the second simply because of the drop off of starting potential falls off after those four.
So OL is key in the first round and Peterman is a good fit for Texans at #57. The biggest hit on Peterman is that he does not have the strongest of arms. However, Texans have had some big arms under center (Savage, Mallet) and what good did it do them?
O'Brien's system will be short to intermediate throws with an occasional deep ball. Peterman can build some strength with maturity and training in time - but in the meantime he is smart, accurate and has pocket poise and has worked in a pro style offense.
