Yea he's tall and slender if that's what you mean, but did you watch the game all the time he was playing ?This must be the worst Senior class of QBs in NFL draft history. The guy who won the MVP looks like Osweiler on a good day. I'm serious, that's who I would compare the guy to. Romo and Cutler look better all the time.
Osweiler can look good on occasion, too. I'm just talking about the kid's delivery and pocket mobility. He's probably not as inaccurate as Osweiler. Only a pressured Hoyer is. I'm just guessing who the kid might become. I'm sure some team will give him a shot late 3rd day.Yea he's tall and slender if that's what you mean, but did you watch the game all the time he was playing ?
The kid can really sling it Lucky, he's got an arm and I think he might have some real upside...

Better than Os
Could be Cutler or Could be Os
While discouraging, missing on a round one or two QB in draft, it is obviously less expensive and easier to recover from than missing on a FA. Someone once posted that a QB should be drafted every draft; I may be more open to that going forward. Perhaps a corner, left tackle and OLB for this system also.
From McNair's comments, doesn't sound like they are interested in any vets.
Right and they don't have to look in that direction because they still have all of their Draft pics intact instead of taking the path of dealing them away the way for example the Rams did. What they did instead was burn thru some of McNairs money and cap space for Brock which will soon be completely restored. From McNair's comments, doesn't sound like they are interested in any vets.
Even if the player did not work out, the decision only impacts for brief time. Probably just me but seems like we are more successful with our lower round draft picks, UDFAs and lower cost FAs or it's because failures in higher levels stick out due to costs and expectations. As disgusted as I am, a decent off season could address most if not all of our positional needs. We have very successful with some low cost choices such as Aboushi, Manz, Anderson, Prosch, Weeks, Novak, Reader, Covington, Heath, Scarlett, Bullough, Peters, Simon, Moore, Bouye and perhaps Robert Nelson. Of course injuries did impact some.Right and they don't have to look in that direction because they still have all of their Draft pics intact instead of taking the path of dealing them away the way for example the Rams did.
