the Official Half Assed Texans @ Titans Gameday Thread

Colts just leg whipped Tannehill's leg. Hopefully it isn't broken like Fitzy's was.

Man the Colts are a dirty team.

They really are. It's amazing to me how they're not widely recognized as one. We see them all the time and we recognize the **** they pull but I think they get away with a lot of crap that much of the rest of the league just doesn't see.

I wouldn't let what Weeden and the Texans in general do to the tAcks to let a false sense of security creep in. They suck. Real bad.

Agreed,

But Weeden looks much better than I thought he would, even if it's against the Tacks.

This may sound crazy but I like the offense better when Weeden is at QB; as opposed to Hoyer. What is going on here?!?

First thoughts are that Weeden isn't as bad as Cleveland made him look and that nobody else won a lot of games in Dallas this year either without that beast running game they had last year. Plus Weeden didn't have Dez when he was starting.

The fact they're playing the worst team in the league probably helps.

He's already matched what Hoyer did against them earlier in the season. I'm not saying he's going to win league MVP, I'm saying the offense looks better. Maybe it is because the deep throw is an option.

What part of that didn't you understand or do you disagree with?

I guess the whole part about Weeden being sooo much better than Hoyer by virtue of 1 game vs the worst team in professional football. Maybe that one?

I mean Weeden over Hoyer isn't necessarily Montana and Young is it?

Is he a better option? Against a respectable defense? Remains to be seen.

But yeah its cool watching him air it out, refreshing even.

Weeden needs a game like this. Playing with a little confidence can't be discounted. He needs a tuneup game and Tennessee is the closest thing to "Eastern Illinois" the NFL has to offer.

The Titans have probably given up, but Weeden has been playing well. He's put the ball in the right spot on both TD throws.

This 2 QB thing has been a disaster from the start. They need to keep Weeden in and let him get the reps. If Hoyer can't go next week (or the Colts lose) it'd be interesting to see what Weeden does with more reps.

Even if you think Hoyer should get his job back, you have to agree Weeden is better at getting rid of the ball under pressure and not folding like a lawn chair.
