Patriots/Texans game flexed to Sunday Night Football

With this "statement" by the Pats and Gronk family, in addition to the LCL 2-4 week prediction, it is likely that the bruise to his knee may be hidden code for bone bruise rather than typical soft tissue bruise that would initially come to mind, putting in an additional unpredictable factor into his recovery of at least 2-4 weeks..........and making his return for the Texans game less likely.......and if he does play, even more likely to be significantly compromised.
Didn't the joint statement issued by the team and the family out and out call it a bone bruise?

I hear the technicians from Gillette Stadium will arrive Monday at NRG to fix any problems with the NRG sound system the Texans might not have otherwise encountered. You know, just i case the game is still close in the 4th.

Philly is up by 14 on New England. Brady just threw another INT. If Philly wins tonight, I expect to see a pissed off Brady and co. next Sunday night put a beat down on the Texans.

I hope to see a pissed off Jj Watt & co. with a beat down of their own.

I can't believe that score...lol. According to the east coast press Brady was supposed to be an angry monster today. I'm sure the refs aren't giving him his due. I guess Gronk the Punk is just that good.

Maybe next week he'll start pushing. Trying to make lemonade out of lemons after losing two in a row. Just a prayer, I guess.

Pats WR's are pretty awful without Gronk. Dropped passes on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th down end the game.

Keshawn Martin had the 4th down drop lol.

It's not only Gronk. From the beginning of the season, the Pats have one by one seen their team especially receiving corp knocked out of commission. That's not going to change any time soon.

I remember when we were crap, ok, we're crap, but we always gave them a game unless it was important. Crap, with 2 losses, NE thinks it's important.

Personally, I think the biggest factor in this game will be off the field with coaching. Belichick is a football genius, but he's also a proud man. I have no doubt that he does not want to lose to his former coaches on prime time, especially in a game that matters. I fully expect the unexpected, in addition to the Patriots specifically taking out J.J. and Nuk to see what the rest of the team can do without them.

The Texans have to bring their A++ game to this one. They cannot make stupid mistakes like dumbass penalties and turnovers and expect to be competitive.

With the injuries to NE, I actually think this one is winnable by the Texans...even though I have doubts that they will actually do it. History is not kind with the Texans on prime time against winning teams, but they did beat the undefeated Bengals a few weeks ago, so it's not impossible.

Most of the time folks want to be proven right. For me, though, I'll take being proven wrong every single time if it means our team is winning games.

Obviously you haven't followed his long history of poor/incorrect calls in crucial situations. Many have called for his firing stating dementia as the basis.

This is only one of many articles that have been written about him over the years.

NFL referee Jeff Triplette *still* doesn't know the rules of football

He's a scary dude when it come to this upcoming game......quite possibly the 13th man.

Thanks! I knew he sucked as a ref but didn't know if there was a particular issue with NE

This guy is horrible. He will be easily influenced by Brady's incessant whining and b***ing! Look for lots of calls to go the Pats way Sunday night

What is the O/U on BS roughing the passer penalties Triplette calls on the Texans? Because you know it's gonna happen. Brady will whine once to this guy and the next time he gets "brushed" on he will draw a flag.
