Mack has a no trade clause in his contract, and has said he will be unwilling to waive it. He can also opt out of his contract at the end of the season if he so chooses.
So to translate that, he'll waive his clause if he likes where he's going, and if he gets a big fat new contract (maybe not in that order).

He's not waiving his no trade clause. He will opt out after the season and become an UFA so he can cash in on one more contract.
IF we could get him for at least three or four years for a 3rd rounder then yes. But he's already at 8mil a year against the cap. If he wants more ... idk.
