Kansas City Chiefs @ Houston Texans. Noon. 9/13. CBS. **Official Liberty White Thread**

Can we use this poor field to our advantage? If the Chiefs offensive players seem uncomfortable playing on it then our defense will be ready to dominate them. If Jamaal Charles has a bad day and Jeremy Maclin can't go deep I like our chances to hold them to under 10 points. The Chiefs offense won't score a Touchdown. I'll give them a couple field goals at best.

Im sure the Texans must know of some strategic dips that are more severe than others? The fucked up thing is that knowing that you could intentionally steer an opponent into his season/career ending injury.

Drama aside I'm ready for a good year, all the BS is over and its a new season. Lets Go!

Pretty much every team game plans to shutdown Jamaal Charles, and he still averages 5ypc. He's an amazing back and will run on us. It's going to happen, dude is phenomenal.

This could be our best run defense in team history.
Pound for pound I think we have the #1 defense in the NFL.

What are the league averages versus what happens on the Texans field? Last I heard there is no connection to more injuries on the Texans field than any other on average. I thought they had decided to go with field turf this season and was relieved that they had addressed the perceived problem only to be told by you guys it was a false story. I can't imagine that Superb Owl LI is going to be played on that surface. Why didn't they fix it this past off season?

You think we're better than everyone on that list? Eventually you have to be objective. Yes, we have the potential to be excellent, but you're talking about shutting down their only offensive weapon, the same weapon that EVERYONE already game plans to shutdown. Every DC in the league says "We're not going to allow JC to dictate the game. We're going to stop the run". And he still runs for 5 yards a clip. Explain to me what changes? Barring injury, Charles is as effective as Foster. He turns goat piss into gasoline.

The League brings in their own specialty grass fields for the Super Bowl. The game last SuperBowl was not played on the pallet system.

Yes. Our front seven can become special. Their health has to hold up. We have great defensive coaches and great defensive players. Jamaal Charles is always capable of having a big game but he likely won't see a defense this good the rest of the year. I consider Jeremy Maclin a big threat myself. I don't think Charles is their only weapon. I'm more worried about Maclin breaking one deep than I am Charles gashing us in the run game.

I love that I just saw Vince Wilfork, Jadaveon Clowney, J.J. Watt, and Brian Cushing around the ball consecutively.

Did Alex Smith forget to practice with defenders holding up broom sticks all week long? Sort of like basketball players tend to practice their jump shots.

Anybody else hear "Here comes Brian Hoyer and the Texans" and throw up just a little bit in the back of their mouth?

I so want to see something I don't expect here. Please be good...

Please!
