If it keeps the train on the rails until we get the main engine back up and running (Foster), I will be ecstatic. And look at that! Savage taking another shot for the team to deliver the strike!
I'm afraid you may not be remembering accurately just how much better Arian Foster is than the Blues, Polks, and Grimes of the NFL world.

I don't expect them to to replace Foster individually or collectively. I just hope they can keep opposing defenses honest by committee until Foster returns. I guess I am just happy football is "officially" back.

The offense looked a lot better than I expected them to. All 3 QBs looked good. The 2nd string O line and defense were the clear weakness in this game. I thought the tackling by that 2nd unit was especially bad. Made Gabbert look like a starting QB.
I'm hoping for another good showing from Mallett next week. I think Hoyer is going to take it, but either way it will be close.
