NFL 2015 Divisional Games

The NFL is is such a pu$$y league. Yeah, flag the guy who throws a great block while the clock is running.

The NHL could show the NFL how it's done.

That hit was definitely after the play. If you want to flag anybody on that play he was the guy.

The clock wasn't running. It was long after the whistle. Long enough I thought Cowboys 56 might get flagged for the last toss to the ground.

Ok, fair enough. But it's still why I think the NFL sucks compared to the NHL and other sports. A game changing penalty.....and what is accomplished again?

They called the guy for a late hit. It was a late hit. Sometimes those flags change games but it isn't the refs fault if it was the correct call.

You're right. The NFL sucks. They SHOULD toss the guy and leave the game itself alone. Next time he would think twice.

I still want to know what is accomplished with a game-changing penalty.

So you're saying they should abolish all penalties?

Yeah, you see right through me. :spit:

Again, what is accomplished by a game-changing penalty on a guy who shoves another guy? Big f'ing deal if somebody gets shoved. Hockey rules over the pansy sport the NFL has become.

The ramification is irrelevant. There has to be a significance to the end of the play and there always has been a penalty for late hits.

That play should stand. Dez reached the ball toward the endzone and that's why the ball hit the ground.

Exactly. The NFL is a pansy sport. Football isn't, the NFL is....

300+ IR'd players a year says different.

Love to see a comparison of NFL v NHL on % of players who miss a quarter of the season due to injury. I bet the NFL wins.

Man the vaunted Cowboys OL is getting abused.

Now there was a bogus game changing reversal.

Wrong.....and wrong.

The Dez call was reversed on the NFL's own stupid rules. Good call according to the rulebook.

lol Seriously? You can't throw the ball fifteen yards down field if it's not a TD. That's why it was penalized.

Hell yeah, seriously. Quit looking through NFL glasses and see it for what it is. What was accomplished by the penalty?? Nothing. But the game could have been altered. Is that what you want?? Not me.

Same ref that made the Calvin Johnson "complete the process" call, made that call on Dez... what are the odds?

Detroit Lions @Lions
Sorry @dallascowboys. We know the feeling: http://bit.ly/1yVP8qr . #CompletingTheProcess

Looked to me like three steps and a reach for the plane. YMMV

I guess I'm different. If a team commits a penalty then yes I would like to see it called. I don't care if it's a game altering penalty or not. Same thing in basketball: a foul is a foul. It doesn't matter if it's at the beginning of the game or in the final two minutes. If you see an obvious penalty on 3rd & 1 call it. The game is going to be altered whether they call the penalty or not.

Yup not calling penalties changes games as well. When the Ravens had to settle for a field goal yesterday Revis had two hands full of jersey and didn't get called. Perreira said it was a clear missed call. Would have been 1st and goal and a likely TD which would have made a tie score...although I still would predict an ultimate Pats win the way Brady was playing.

Again, and my last time. Why is that a penalty?? What makes that penalty right in the grand scheme of things? Nothing. Sheep hear it's a penalty and accept it as right, I don't. It's part of what makes the NFL so full of crap.

Of all sports that don't call themselves the NBA, the NFL is the worst where the rulebook is concerned, not to mention officiating itself.

Never thought I'd say this, since I hate the Cowbiys with a passion, but I thought they got screwed. I thought it was a tremendous catch. They could explain why it wasn't until the cows come home, but I thought it was a catch.

Imagine if were the Texans and that was AJ. Common sense says it was a catch. And common sense should take precedence over some ticky-tack rule.
