Juniors declaring for the 2015 draft

Florida junior RB Matt Jones will declare for the 2015 NFL Draft, according to beat writer Nick De La Torre.

Jones took 166 carries for 817 yards and six touchdowns. Two other Gators have already declared for the draft, guard Tyler Moore and edge rusher Dante Fowler Jr., and expect others to lean towards the NFL due to an upcoming coaching change. If Jones is drafted, it will be on the third day.

2105?!?! And you know this how?:kitten:

Hundley off the top of my head. Isn't Michigan State's QB a junior? Do you think Cook declares?

Devin Funchess (WR/TE, Michigan) has declared for the draft. I think he's more of a WR than TE although being pegged as a TE will help his draft stock as this is a very weak draft at the position.

Very similar build and measureables as Kelvin Benjamin although he's nowhere near as dominant with the ball in the air.

This is a horrible year to come out early for RBs. There is tremendous depth at both RB and WR this year.

Heisman finalist. RT @TeddyGreenstein: Melvin Gordon just told me he spilled it on @dpshow: He's turning pro. (But of course.) #badgers

Eli Harold (DE/OLB, Virginia) has declared for the draft.

Has good size (6-4, 250) and athleticism as a 3-4 OLB. Flashes big play potential but needs to become a more consistent threat. Probably a 2nd or 3rd rounder although he has a chance to rise higher if he opens some eyes at the Combine.

Wisconsin RB's don't have a good track record in the NFL. Wonder if Gordon can change that.

!!!!! RT @SportsCenter: Miami RB Duke Johnson will enter NFL draft.

And just because there's no appropriate thread for me to post this, and because I sometimes see things so amusing they're worth sharing, I'll post it here. I just finished watching a group of offensive linemen here for combine training trying to run a circle in the pool and create a whirlpool at the behest of our track coach. If you knew/saw our track coach, you'd know that alone is funny. She's something else. One of them went down and it reminded me of the Robin Williams stand-up in Good Morning Vietnam, where he talked about a jack-knifed water buffalo. One guy went down and it was a domino effect. Hilarious.

Just noticed Oklahoma DL Jordan Phillips declared for NFL Draft. Remarkable athlete with 1st round potential.

This guy is a stud. Cowboys 1st rd pick if available.

Didn't think Phillips would come out, but he's already battled a ton of injuries in his short career.

Here's a list of players that declared over the last few days that haven't been touched on yet.

Kwon Alexander (LB, LSU)
Deontay Greenberry (WR, Houston)
Deion Barnes (DE, Penn State)
Tyler Kroft (TE, Rutgers)
Ereck Flowers (OT, Miami)
Jeremiah Poutasi (OT, Utah)
Donovan Smith (OT, Penn State)
Tevin Coleman (RB, Indiana)

BOB should know all of Penial St. talent better than anybody. Smith and Poutasi are viable RT candidates. Poutasi is a player if he can keep his weight down.

Trey Williams (RB, Texas A&M) has declared for the draft. This is a very weird decision. He's a niche player at best who was a stuck in a committee his entire career at A&M.

Maxx Williams (TE, Minnesota) has apparently declared for the draft. If true, he will probably be the first TE drafted this year. He's a stud.

Won't even get drafted, in my opinion. Head scratcher.

Agreed.

I would pick Trey Williams in rd 6-7. He really didn't get a chance to show his true talent. (Shane Vereen)

Is Maxx Williams good enough to be considered at 16? I haven't seen him at all until today. He was impressive.

Gophers TE Maxx Williams to enter NFL draft

A number of people were surprised when a report surfaced stating Minnesota tight end Maxx Williams planned on entering the draft. As of two weeks ago Williams was telling people he would return to the Gophers next season. I’m told the determining factor was the second round grade Williams recently received from the advisory committee.

Just talked to Stefon Diggs, who told me that he has decided to forgo his final year at Maryland and enter the NFL draft

USC junior WR Nelson Agholor will declare for the 2015 NFL Draft.;

Florida Gators junior left tackle D.J. Humphries announced Sunday night that he would forgo his remaining eligibility and enter the 2015 NFL Draft.

“GATOR NATION This has been the best 3 years of my life,” he wrote on Twitter. “But now, I feel it’s time to move on! I’ll always be a gator for LIFE! #FairwellUF”

Humphries is the fourth Gators underclassmen to leave for the draft. Juniors defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. and running back Matt Jones and redshirt junior offensive linemen Tyler Moore are Florida players that have already decided to the program before their eligibility has expired.

Interesting

Trae Waynes (CB, Michigan State)
Shaq Thompson (LB, Washington)
Danielle Hunter (DE/OLB, LSU)
Xavier Cooper (DT, Washington State)

Have all entered draft.

Shane Ray (DE/OLB, Missouri) has entered draft.

Rumors are abound that Andrus Peat (OT, Stanford) and Taylor Decker (OT, Ohio State) have done the same.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 7m7 minutes ago

Very interesting name RT @BruceFeldmanCFB: Bob Stoops said Dorial Green Beckham informed him a week ago that he intends to enter @NFL draft.

Bruce Feldman ‏@BruceFeldmanCFB 13s14 seconds ago

#Stanford star OT Andrus Peat is entering the NFL draft.

Max Valles (DE/OLB, Virginia) has entered the draft. Now this is interesting. He's just a true sophomore, but because he attended military school for a year out of high school he is eligible for the draft (same scenario as Larry Fitzgerald).

Valles is a freak at 6-5, 240 and can rush the passer and run with TE's in coverage. He actually outperformed teammate Eli Harold this year and Harold is a 3rd-4th rounder.
