If nothing else, Suh succeeded in changing the talk. No longer about him missing OTAs, now about him possibly pulling an Eli.
The Lions clarification is that Suh was thrilled to be drafted by Lions.
Suh continued: "Im here in Detroit, Im happy to be here in Detroit."
Told it wasn't his choice, Suh said: "It is my choice. It is for sure, my choice. But like I said, thats water under the bridge ...
Asked how he could have gone elsewhere, Suh said: "Theres many ways to do things. You can drop down in the draft, you can move up ...
Suh continued: "Had that decision in my hands. I chose not to take it because that's just the way I saw it."
Here's Suh's quote: "Probably a lot of you guys dont know, I could have gone elsewhere when I was drafted. ...
He was asked that as he walked to locker room, didn't answer >>>>>>>>like pulling an Eli? "im not playing for them!" kind of thing?
Tried to ask for clarification and as he walked off he referred questions to media relations department
Original question was about why he wants to stay in Detroit, basically saying he could have avoided Lions in the first place if he wanted
Asked to clarify, he said there's lots he could have done to drop down but wouldn't specify.
Suh answered most questions today, until he ended his podium session by saying he could have made it so he didn't go to the Lions in draft
Suh still winning friends...

What a turd. Or is it just me?
If Lions can't get Suh signed, his franchise tender would be $26.7 million in 2015 - or he becomes a unrestricted free agent in his prime
Lions are not optimistic about signing Ndamukong Suh to a new contract. He enters camp counting $22,412,500 against salary cap.
The weird thing about Suh is that he's so well spoken off the field. Strange to see a seemingly intelligent and well spoken dude be such a jerk on the field.
Although, the same Ndamukong Suh on the field in the 1070's would not have raised an eyebrow, especially if he was in a Raiders or Steelers uniform.
Ted Bundy was also well-spoken.
So if Ndamukong Suh loses appeal of one-game suspension, and Lions lose Sunday, could be a wrap on his time in Detroit.
Ndamukong Suh is being suspended for Sunday's game against Dallas, per @mortreport. When he appeals, hearing officer will be Ted Cottrell.

Good clip. The right foot is an accident. The left could be until he lifts his right foot in order to apply more force. But he is and always will be dirty. He INTENDS to injure his opponents AFTER the play. It is criminal, not football.
So, he won't get to audition for his future employer, Jerry Jones, on Sunday.
As a Cowboy's fan, I am glad that this will hopefully keep Romo's spine intact for another round.
I've always really liked Suh as a football player. He's fantastic.
But I don't think I'd want him on my team. The guy is a constant problem.
Do they have enough cap room to sign Suh?
I can totally see the Jags making a run at him just because I hate him so much and they have a ton of cap room.
I think it depends on how much they pay Dez. Not sure what the cap looks like, but I think they are getting rid of a lot of the D-Ware and Miles Austin dead money this year.
Some team will blow a monster signing bonus on him, but man I'm not sure he's worth it.
I agree. However, I would want him on my team. Imo, he's good enough that it makes up for occasional stupidity. These acts of ignorance are only pushing his FA $ down.
Ndamukong Suh won his appeal; now allowed to play vs. Dallas
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports that a new formula removed Suh from the "repeat offender" list after Week 16. Suh's last violation was in Week 1 of 2013, when he was fined $100,000 for an illegal chop block on Vikings center John Sullivan. That was the biggest fine in NFL history for on-field conduct.
According to NFL rules, a player who goes 32 games (including a maximum of two preseason games) without a violation is removed from the list. His history as a repeat offender was never cited.

Good deal, I'm glad Suh is playing this weekend. Hey this is the NFL POs, not badmittten.
Are you kidding me?
The only problem I have with this Title is that there's nothing NEW about Suh's dirty play.
The title is from 2011.
It wasn't new then either.
Yeah it was. Look at the original post. It's an article about the Suh maybe heading toward his 1st suspension and folks debating whether he's dirty or just a good old fashion defender.
He played dirty before his first suspension. He played dirty in college, I suspect he played dirty in HS and probably sand lot too.
Well since we are being thread title Nazis, the thread title refers to NFL so college and HS don't mean anything. The article is at the beginning of his 2nd season. He'd had 1 year to earn his burgeoning reputation among NFL dirty players.
I've always really liked Suh as a football player. He's fantastic.
But I don't think I'd want him on my team. The guy is a constant problem.
"The latest incident with Suh came against the Patriots."

He played dirty before the discussion about his first suspension. He played dirty in college, I suspect he played dirty in HS and probably sand lot too. It's UNCONTROLLED aggression, not aggression which is the problem. It's the deliberate crossing of boundaries and desire to INJURE which was, is and will continue to be his problem. But the way the NFL has coddled him is also a problem.
If he is not a dirty player, then the NFL has no dirty players.
Your reading skills need to improve. I never said he wasn't a dirty player.
Nfl wont suspend him for apparent kick to the helmet of morris

He sure is "accident" prone. I can't help but think the Commisioner is now afraid to hand down any more penalties. He's learned how to do it "under the radar." Looked like an accident when he kicked Schaub in the balls, and again looked like an accident yesterday.
