Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans. 12/21. Noon. CBS. **Official Gameday Thread**

Last three years, Big Ben didn't go far at all. Without Le'Veon Bell tearing it up this year, it could've been four in a row.

Flacco didn't go very far last year & without that dominating defense, he may not go very far this year.

Andy Dalton... may turn into something special, but right now, I'm fine with him not being on our team.

Brady, Manning... old as heck, but yeah, I'd take them.

There are only so many "special" QBs in this league. The rest of us have to make due with what we've got & hope we catch those special guys on the day they will lose.

I hope we play New England in September next year, don't want no part of them in December.
Most often does not mean all the time. Anyway, it looks like Buffalo is going to be out it will be one long week for of us Houston Texans fans.

If Buffalo loses this week they're eliminated and we won't have to worry about them

the announcers at today's game were definitely cheering for the ravens. makes me sick. on the ravens td late in the game one announcer sounded like he peed his pants with excitement.

i dont know what it looked like on tv, but that was the single worst game i've ever seen flacco play. he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and looked somewhere between lethargic and lost all game. we played a great game on defense, especially keeping the run game in check and forcing contested throws, but flacco looked awful.

Flacco got his bell rung early and had happy feet all game. He felt pressure late in the game that wasn't there. The d-line and the pressure we brought caused that

Wow!! I cannot believe the Texans won that game! I bet Bullock has a sore leg next week! Ugly wins sure do feel better than those "moral victory" defeats!!

Ok, I'm back on the :koolaid: The Texans win out and everything falls into place for the Texans to get in the playoffs!

I hope Bullock got a game ball today! No one deserved one more than that guy. He was MONEY for them today.

The broadcasters were essentially the same throughout the game.

Yes they were!! .....and it was laughable. first they said that after the first 15, the Texans wouldn't have any plays the Ravens hadn't seen. Then they got worse, and worse, and worse. I know why ex-coaches like their TV gigs.....they get paid for being stupid, lazy, and uninformed.

I was in Lufkin watching the game for the first 3 quarters before I left. The Texans defense kicked ass in the first three quarters. Maybe Flaco was having a bad day outside of what our defense was doing to him, but what I saw of our defense there wasn't very many teams in the NFL that wouldn't have had a bad day either.

No mid game adjustments. No wonder they're out of coaching...

Epic. as Thorn said good to see this team and organization with some swagger. It is apparent that BOB has the entire organization drinking his kool aid and it looks like someone spiked it as well. Proud of the team and coaching staff today. Special kudos to RAC who played chess while Kubiak was playing checkers. He had everyone guessing what was coming from the defense all day.

Did he even attempt one more than 35 yards?

6 for 6 is good..... deserving of a game ball for sure, but "MONEY"

:boogereater:

You guys notice there hasn't been much Derek Newton, or Right Tackle, talk this season? Which is a good thing of course...

Today, he helped shut down the league leader in sacks (before today). Then he filled in well at RG when Brooks went out.

Gotta give the guy some credit!

Trolling?

BOB just trolled Kubiak epically

That's....not trolling. That's just.....knowing what our record was last year versus this year.

I don't think Bill O'Brien gives a **** about Gary Kubiak.

Didn't much care for Arian's scoreboard taunt. Maybe he should take a look at the standings rather than the scoreboard. We're not 15-1 and we're definitely not ahead of Baltimore at the moment. If we were, then I'd be okay with it.

Foster is an idiot. They were only up two score with one more half to play. Ravens defense actually played pretty well considering their offense couldn't stay on the field. So yeah, their D had every right to talk smack to a team only up two TD when the Ravens offense gave them all the chances in the world to be up by 40.

If it was late in the 4th quarter then I could understand the "Lookit, scoreboard bro".

Calm down, guys. It was a heat of the moment exchange with opponents who were chippy the whole game.

Pessimist. You are that angry old man who yells at the neighbor kids every day then one day you need help and they turn their back on you. Can't you just enjoy the ride knowing the situation we're in at qb? I guarantee that linemen ran his mouth to Foster and Foster came back with scoreboard bro. AF is not a trash talker unless provoked, so there is nothing wrong pointing out the score.

I don't give a **** what anyone says, that is a classic cut of NFL film. Foster has always been one of my absolute fan boy favorites, and that little cut just makes my day to watch it.

While foster annoys me at times I laughed at the scoreboard move. Surely he was catching some sh!t which I'm okay with a response.

Greetings all. I haven't been on since before the game yesterday and will read this thread tonight.

Just my :twocents: but I swear I heard Harbaugh lean over to Kubiak right around the second quarter and whisper, "I forgot, you suck in this building." :turtle:

Damn that was fun to watch. It was even fun to listen to the announcers b!tch as their team lost.

My personal favorite? Keenum tosses a pass on the left flat to (can't remember) and four players converge. A flag comes in and the announcers thought it would be PI against the Ravens...........

"You know sometimes it looks like the referees just throw a flag because........OH, it against the Texans on a pick. Great call on a clear pick by Demaris Johnson, great call by the officials....."

What a game. I could go on, but to keep it short I'll just say I was proud of the Texans, coaching staff and all.

Meh. Foster had just scored his first touchdown and was pumped. I love his swag and that gif cracks me up!

I'm surprised Arian didn't get a 15 yard taunting penalty.

For what? He was just being helpful, the visiting team didn't know where the score board was, and being more familiar with NRG being from around here and all he just helped the guy out. Now that's just good sportsmanship.

Normally I'd be mad at that move, but the Ravens are cheapshot artist. Constant late hits, and lots of instigating when the refs are looking just in time for the other team to retaliate and get flagged.

I'm guessing you don't watch very many Ravens games. There were a lot of flags that could have been thrown on Sunday on BOTH teams.

Of course there could be. However the Ravens have a knack for taunting opponents in to scuffles. The Choir Boy Patriots have gotten pretty good at it as well, but the Ravens are still the best.

And no I don't watch many Ravens games, a handful maybe, but the my hated opponents power ranking is Colts at the top followed by the Ravens. And if you want to talk about BS no call penalties, let's go back to the playoffs with the Texans versus the Ravens when Jacoby Jones muffed that punt, he had a chance to recover before the Ravens tackled him as he was moving back toward the ball. Last time I checked only the ball carrier can be tackled, not a guy with out the ball.

Jared Crick played a great game yesterday also.

Sack/hustled out to the flat to assist on a tackle on Forsett. Was great in the run game. He has really improved since the beginning of the season.

That play has been whined about for too long now.

He tried to field the ball, got hit and the Ravens recovered it...end of story. There's better examples than that.

Maybe you missed it when I said "taunting penalty" so I'll say it again. Taunting. It's a 15 yard penalty.

That he did. I had just about given up on him to tell you the truth. Was hoping to see more Pagan... but if Crick keeps this up, I may get behind baby Watt.
