Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts. 12/14. Noon. CBS. **Official Gameday Thread**

Just like Mallett was "OK" and was able to play vs. the Bengals?

I'd bring in Brian Hoyer if the Browns don't re-sign him. He could be the hottest free agent quarterback. Too much unknowns with the health of Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ryan Mallett. I like Tom Savage learning as a backup going into next season. Robert Griffin III or Sam Bradford (coming off injury), if either becomes available, is worth a look if nothing else. For the right price they could be had in a trade.

LOL........no way.....Hoyer is garbage.......RG3 is damaged goods..........maybe Bradford but he doesn't seem to be able to stay healthy for an entire season

I was feeling crap after that game.

Full on p'ed off.

I then switch to watch the Jets and all of a sudden i feel a lot better about texans.

3rd n 21 and the do a QB draw play lol.

The only thing worse than losing and having the calls consistently go against the Texans in Indianapolis is the inevitable post by another Texans fan telling us to ignore what we all saw.

Crick brushed up against Luck's neck and the flag was thrown. The Colts trip Fitzpatrick and break his f-ing leg. Nothing. Same with Savage having his knee blasted. But, no, "the refs blow calls against both teams." Take that bullsh!t out of here.

In the gif of the Fitz play, you can see the side judge had a clear view of the trip. No call. And the ref is supposed to keep an eye on the QB at all times, right? What was the linesman looking at? How does an entire crew blow that? With all of the talk about the game being "too fast" for Savage, it seemed "too fast" for the officials.

Meh, I thought the Texans did pretty OK today. They held the top ranked offense in the NFL to well below their season averages in yards and points and the offense looked much better in the 2nd half.

I do, however, agree that it's bullspit on the Fitz injury, Posey's "hold" and the shot TS took to his knee. The Texans need to complain long and loud to the league office on those. The holding call on Posey was a definite game-changer.

As for QB's in '15, I think they're already on the roster. I see Mallett and Savage battling it out in TC. Both showed flashes of being very capable starters and both throw a beautiful deep ball. Savage looked much, much, much better than Johnny Douchebag did today.

If Savage really is good to go, I'm looking forward to seeing him play after a week of starter' reps. He'll be much more in synch with the WR's and he'll have AJ back. That never hurts a QB.
