Cincinnati to Big XII?

To get to 12 teams, don't they need to add two teams?

They may be looking at Cincy & Houston... Louisville or someone else

Louisville just joined the ACC, doubt they're going anywhere.

Wouldn't be surprised if they gave Boise St., Colorado St., or BYU a look.

UT doesn't want to compete for recruits in the Houston area. They know as long as UH is in a 3rd rate conference, the top recruits will always choose the Big XII over wherever the hell UH is exiled.

I've heard BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado St, Memphis, and UCF will all get a look.

I would be OK with UCF only because they are local.

Again, Fort Worth/Dallas based TCU just joined. And im sure UT and others value recruiting in the Dallas area just as much or more than Houston area.

I think UH and BYU are top notch programs.

BYU has a national fan base so I get that. They're also decent in football. Better than Texas the last two years for sure, unfortunately.

UCF actually has one of the largest undergraduate enrollments in the country if I'm not mistaken. I think the idea behind them is that they could be a force if they were able to get their facilities in order.

Cincinnati, Colorado St, and Memphis would just be another mouth to feed. They don't add enough in revenue to deserve a piece of the pie. Throw UH in that group as well. It's not fair but it is what it is.

There are plenty of reasons to hate Texas but this is silly. They already compete for Houston recruits against LSU and Texas A&M, and to a lesser extent Oklahoma.

Houston would get some in a bigger conference but not enough to make a dent compared to those other schools.

BYU would be a good add if they can hash out the religion restrictions and UCF makes sense as some power conference funding could really help them take off.
