I heard Brandon Marshall wasn't very happy with the results of yesterday's game. On 610 they alluded to him calling out Jay Cutler. I finally saw the interview on NFLN & to me, didn't look anything like that.
I like it. This is a game of emotion & it looks like Marshall is about to explode a crap load of it. I'm very interested in how he & the Bears respond. I don't think Cutler is much of a leader, fine QB, all the tools, but like Fitz, he can only do so much when his OL are playing like matadors.
I'd like to see if they can get behind Marshall & do something special this year.
"We got Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett, Matt Forte, we got a stud offensive line," Marshall said. "We got a great, great group of guys and this is unacceptable. What did we put up? Fourteen points. Was it 14 points? That's unacceptable. That's unacceptable."
Whether or not Marshall omitted Cutler purposefully or was so fueled with emotion that he skipped over him is probably worthy of debate.
"The Chicago Bears should not be 3-4 right now," Marshall said. "Absolutely unacceptable. And it starts on the offensive side of the ball."
