Good list. I'll just pitch in my .02 here.

Garoppolo could (big big could) go late first. All it takes is one team to see a developmental QB in the 25-32 range that really likes the kid and wants to groom him. The Saints are looking for Drew Brees' successor, the Pats for Tom Brady's, etc.

Running back - do you think Hyde goes in the first? I would be surprised, frankly. Jeremy Hill is also more likely to be a 3rd rounder than a 2nd. However, I love Bishop Sankey too. I think picking him up would be a good move and we could solidify the #2 RB position.

TE - Love ASJ. If he's there I'd be damn tempted.

Guard - Gabe Jackson is a solid player. Like him the best of that group.

CB - Verrett would be awesome. No more watching McCain give up a short completion that turns into a long YAC gain.

Totally agree on Garap.
Had to put one RB in first. Mayocks says wouldn't be surprised if Hyde is the one. Didn't really put these players in a particular order. Used mayocks top five per position and added a few I thought were worthy.

Sankey is my fav RB in this class.

Agree with both Jackson and Varret comments.

So out of the no. Bolded do you take out of the first to replace with Odell?

Looking solely at the wideouts, I like Cooks as a slot guy but I also like Jarvis Landry, though we have a slower, talons-of-steel, circus catch-artist in Hopkins. I'd honestly be looking more at OT/defensive linemen/linebackers in that spot, with JuWuan James/Stephen Tuitt or Nix/Skov or Smallwood being my particular targets.

Love the idea of Cooks at slot WR. Especially if we go QB 1.1.

Stephon Tuitt Notre Dame looks like a natural 3-4 end & good fit here if available to bookend w/Watt.

I was really into drafting Tuitt until I really started watching a lot of film on him from this year.

I think he could slip through the cracks, will have to see what he does Pro-Day. Generally not impressed with ND players game tape period, just thought of it more personal bias.... he checks the boxes size wise, 6-5 304 with long arms 34 3/4" yet still repped 10 more than Clowney. 49 tackles, 9 tfl with 7 sacks, twice Clowney's production.

I like Ford at 2,but if I thought I could get marcus smith in the 3rd,I would take kyle fuller or Jace Amaro at 2. Then I get smith at 3 and Sims in the 4th.

I am going to put my neck out here and say Louis Nix will be there at 2:1
Too much about his weight and lack of punch into the backfield.

Be a good NT in a 3-4 two gap system where that punch is not needed.
If only I knew of a team that was playing that system ;)

Would still prefer ASJ at 2:1 though.

I have to agree with this. I fully expect that we trade the 2.1 pick. Lots of teams are going to have over night to think about whatever 1st round talent that fell to 2.1 and they're going to want that talent so we should be able to do well in a trade. If we don't trade then I think we target some DT/DE, LB, or OT value that falls to us.

You've got Cyrus Kouandjio bolded. There was an article here a few days ago that stated he failed several teams physicals at the Combine because of knee issues and he has arthritis in the knee and that he may not even be draftable. Look for him to fall hard.

I'd be looking for Stephon Tuitt, RaShede Hageman, Morgan Moses, Telvin Smith, Kyke Van Noy, Calvin Pryor, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Derek Carr, etc... Someone really good will be there at 2.1

You have 34 folks being selected in the first round so there should be two more bolded guys at your disposal. Any idea who they might be?

There will be a couple of certain 1st rounders who will fall out of the 1st because there are just too many after the surprise picks in the 1st round. But I hope we've already traded down and picked up extra choices by then.

Guys in blue my best guess to surely be gone in first round...

Assumes Dee Ford's back isn't an issue, and barring other injury news.

Would still prefer ASJ at 2:1 though.

You're not putting your neck out at all. I almost bolded him myself. I think he very well could be there at 2.1. Love ASJ at 2.1.

I think some of the guys like Garoppolo, Skov, and Sankey may even be available at 3:1.

Absolutely could be. Garopolo is the flavor of the week. Looks like he has taken over the lead in the second tear group of QB's. Could go in first or could go in the third who knows. I think Skov goes higher than people think because of his versatility. Also he got better as the year went along. He was rusty coming off an injury at the beginning of the year.

Sankey is my favorite RB in this draft for this team. I would love him to fall that late.

That's why I have Cyrus bolded. He was a first round lock until his medical got out. I agree he will drop. That's will push Richardson into the first round IMO. Someone will fall for sure. It happens every year. Hopefully someone so good e don't want to trade out of that pick or someone gives us a kings ransom for it.

You have 34 folks being selected in the first round so there should be two more bolded guys at your disposal. Any idea who they might be?

Checkout playoffs post. That's a pretty fair and accurate example IMO of who should be gone (blue). The ones not bolded in black are the bubble guys.

Tuitt, I believe, was originally expected to go in the bottom of the first. But with the stress fracture in his foot, he may fall to the second round. He's scheduled for surgery with a recovery time of 6 to 8 weeks.

From what I've read, ILB's are generally downgraded as to rating/value and 2-33 may be too high for Skov & Smallwood. From what I've been seeing, they are slotted in as 2/3, so maybe one will be available at 3-65.
