For what its worth I think Manziel is the second best QB so maybe that will really piss some people off.

This is the part that gets me. I understand that people have their favorites. I do. But it's hilarious that everyone else automatically sucks because he's not my favorite.

I think all three of these guys have their strong suits. Who knows which one will will be the glimmer in BO'Bs eye. Whichever one he picks is fine with me. I'm just happy we finally are out of that mess we've been in for the last 5 years. I never liked Schaub. Never fully believed in him. I'll take any of these guys in a new system over that mess ANYDAY.

Yes it's getting annoying. Every incompletion is criticized. We should all be happy that we are about to get a fresh start with an up to date system with a young talented new QB. I can't wait.

I definitely have an idea of who I think will be the best pro. But I'm not a NFL HC with O'Brien's track record at QB. Whoever he chooses is fine with me.

The best thing about it is, he gets his choice out of all of them. Even if we were picking second he would have to settle for the second option. If he likes all of them we can trade down a couple of spots and still get one. I love that he has that option.

That's an excellent point, which has been glossed over due to our collective rush to judge each of them.

My thoughts on manziel were solidified long before we locked up the number 1 pick...i wanted no parts of him well before that.


I could get behind the clowney pick, but frankly If Clowney is the best overall prospect in this draft.....#1 he ain't that much better than TB as a prospect..#2, short of him putting together a 2012 JJ Watt season (extremely unlikely), his impact isn't gonna be no where near the impact TB's could be.

The other thing is we don't know what we'll be doing on defense..3-4 or 4-3. I'm gonna guess that Clowney's probably a better fit in 1 vs. the other. Also, i think our biggest problem on defense is in the secondary...Clowney helps that, how much is up for debate.

Furthermore when you have the opportunity to pick the best prospect at any position before anyone else, every teaam in the league not named the Packers, Patriots, Saints and probably Seahawks and 49ers are naturally gonna look at their qb situation before they look anywhere else.

Apart from that, there's a reason teams often reach for qbs...& Our biggest need just happens to be at the qb position. there's a qb rated high enough to be considered for the pick....you just cannot pass up that opportunity to solidify your franchise for years to come.
 
I haven't seen Bortles thread the needle or throw into spaces, but he's having a good game nonetheless.

Yep. And the off-the field stuff is out of control too. I mean Bridgewater is all completing his degree in three years and stuff and Manziel is going all in your face, look at me knucklehead.
