Ben Tate Says We're "wishy-washy"

Pay your money for your ticket and boo till you're blue in the face. If you make yourself out to be an idiot, so be it, and if you happen to bring about some needed changes, all the better.

Not true... I am not one of the fans that claim winning championshs are all that matter... I booed the2005 team because of poor effort and a dull product. Also, I did not do it when Carr was under center.

These guys scream about winning being everything and then undermine apt entail win.

Winning championships aren't what matters?

What the hell is the point then? If you're happy with an organization that got to the play offswith Peyton gone (finally) and then coming apart 1 year later, then by all means, have fun with that. Sucess in this league is determined by the number of rings you have on your fingers, all other measuring sticks are meaningless.

I don't understand how people are so willing to keep chugging right along with the "Hold on it will get better" attitude. I don't think this is change for the sake of change, it's change that has to happen.

As for the booing, meh. You're freaking pros, supposedly, grow a set and get over it.

I've seen many a times when the Texans put together a nice qtr, the fans at Reliant applaud them. Sometimes, a standing O. When Mario got his first sack, the crowd went wild, when Kj got his first INT.... or Jacoby returned a punt for a TD... blew the roof off.

Matt's had his share of cheers & they show Andre, Arian, OD, Antonio, Jj, Demeco (back in the day) mad love when they introduce them before the games.

They know why the fans booed. They need to stop puseefooting the issue & say what's up. If they think it's unfair, say so. If they think it's not Matt's fault, say so. If they think we don't understand.... help us understand (not that I was booing).

I'd never boo my team, but I understand when others do. It's usually with good reason. While there may not have been 70,000 fans there, there was at least 50,000 of us idiots out there supporting their wishy-washy azz.

& reporters are always egging players into saying something stupid. Ben should make them work harder before giving up the goods.

Winning is everything, it's why they play the game. Which is why an 8 game losing streak and really stupid coaching decisions based on favoritism over merit pisses off a huge percentage of the fanbase.

You are focused on a moment in time, a microcosm event. But these things do not exist in a vacuum. There is a bigger picture to examine, to try and comprehend, that reveals the true nature behind the events of the moment.

Sometimes you have to take off the blinders and allow yourself to be objective beyond chosen agendas.

Well, if demonstrating respect instead of hate to persons I have invested my time in/with is an agenda, then I guess I will continue to wear blinders.

Hate? Come on, man. This team is soft while unraveling and needs an overhaul. Grown men making at least 6 figures should be able to take the boos.

Great post man. I agree with you on all counts. I especially appreciate the bold. We all handle our business differently. For some of us, we got emotional and HAD to boo to let out our frustrations.

I do not believe it is "hate". It is dissatisfaction and frustration on display.

I'm not one to ever boo my team, but I'm just trying to say that I somewhat understand the circumstances of this specific event.

Most fans are not delusional enough to believe that this team had anything left in the tank to make a playoff run at 2-7. So the only thing bringing any positivity to fans is seeing the development of Case Keenum.

And here's the deal on that: Schuab was allowed to have some of the worst performances we have seen from a QB without repercussions. Kubiak never showed even the slightest tendency to pull him from a game for a bad performance.

So what did Case do to deserve it? Not talking about Kubiak's horseshit reply of protecting him, because we know his comments last week had every intention of putting Matt in at some point.

So you want to talk about respect? You earn respect. It is not entitled. His decision was garbage, his excuses are garbage, and his team is now garbage. Nobody respects garbage. It's why we toss it out and leave it on the curb.

Fans LOVE this franchise. They respect Bob McNair. But to ask them to give 8 years to a coach and respect 2-8 results is beyond the boundaries of respect. Kubiak's career .500 record does not deserve it.

You must be refering to the imbeciles that get to Schaubs house. Those idiots are garbage, but that goes without saying. However booing is expressing disapproval like Double Barrel said.

:foottap: when will you guys stop antagonizing dale, he will NEVER agree on this issue, or any issue, that warrants negativity towards kubiak, he is garys long lost son

DB, Kubiak did pull schaub during a game last month. Since, he has replaced him with a second year, UDFA... Before his meltdown this year and the end of last year, why would Kubiak have cause to pull him?

Because of his crappy play in the last half of last season.

However, I do give Kubiak some leeway due to the fact that he didn't appear to have any options late last year. It's hard to change horses in the middle of a playoff run.

This past preseason showed that Kubiak does have viable options and would've served his team's cause better by using them earlier. Hindsight's 20/20 and all that, but a lot if this stuff has been glaringly obvious.

Are you talking about the SF game? After Schaub had already gift wrapped the game?

Lmao. Now that was him protecting his qb. Schaub couldn't do anything in that game besides throw picks. All he was doing was throwing the ball to SF.

The game had been decided by time Yates came in.

Let's not be obtuse. Gary has never pulled Schaub from a game that was still within reasonable shot of being won.

Deflection is a common tactic used when someone is not performing up to expectations or standards.

Successful people dont use excuses, and they definitely dont point the finger. They simply move forward and solve the problem.

Haha, no no no.. It would be Katt.

So Gary has 3 sons, all with names starting with a "K", 3xk = 3k or KKK... GARY?????? :( :(

Yeah, that was the joke he made. He aimed it at a poster named "Dale" saying he'd be "Kale" if he was Kubes' son. Get it? He wasn't talking about Matt Schaub, he was talking about "Dale Murphy" the poster, not the former baseball player.
