Not only does Barwin love taking the bus, he actually has Twitter conversations with bus employees.

Hell if metro wasn't so weird I'd probably do the same. Philly's equivalent of metro has got to be LOVING all the free press. He might actually make it hip to take the bus in Philly. Conner Barwin...regular guy. :dread:

Connor is one of the few TreeHuggers I really admire and respect. And I will be pulling for him along with other x-Texans DeMeco & Casey and the Eagles today vs Dallas.
 
didnt he do that here.. i saw from his twitter he used to take the rail to reliant and was active bike rider around Houston..

when he signed with philly he gave away free fpsf tickets to the texans fans who had the best use for his texans jersey. some lady sewed one of those grocery bags and she won..
 
Two things.

1) As soon as I saw the headline (before I clicked on the link) I thought: Connor Barwin.

2) I was up in Philly earlier this year. (Cool town, btw). You don't need a car there. I don't blame him. It's quicker to take mass transit around than to drive.
 
meh who cares, part of why I think Connor doesn't do as well as he did earlier is he's too busy being mr. hipster instead of a gym rat and working on his craft.

I don't think he's "being" anyone; I just think that's who he is.

He's not as bad as Eric Winston, who was so focused on being in the media that he ignored becoming a better player.
