If I was Levine, I would be eating some OC ass right now. Do not they not have any play action or mis direction plays?
last 3 trips in the endzone has been 9 runs, our biggest strength has been our running game today.
Still when trying to run it in is not working, you have to try something else.
The Coogs were only a 3-pt favorite, but they dominated the game.
Can't ask for anything more than that.
Yeah but it wasnt that, the coogs moved the ball at will up and down the field, the redzone play calling was horrible.
How did 4 star WR prospect Greenberry looked?
He had 14 catches for 165 yds!
He has been moved to inside receiver this season and it seems to be paying off so far.
They have 2 weeks to get this red zone **** cleared up before they face Rice. If they stumble in the red zone against Nerd U they are gonna get killed.

Greenberry was named AAC offensive player of the week today.
Bayou Bucket tomorrow vs Rice at Reliant. If you are able to come out they will have $1 hot dogs at the game. If you aren't able to make it will be televised on Fox Sports SW
Damn it. I didn't get a chance to see the game except for the onside kick and what followed.
31-26 and the stats look like it was a good game to watch. I hope FSSW replays it.
I was worried about this one, good to see the W. No more Owls!
Were they that bad?
The Cougars (3-0) won for the 29th time in 40 meetings in what could be the final Bayou Bucket for the foreseeable future.
With the Cougars ahead 31-13, Rice scored 13 quick points on a 1-yard touchdown run by Taylor McHargue and a 62-yard touchdown return on a blocked field-goal attempt with less than 2:30 remaining.
Chris Boswell, who missed a pair of long field goals, perfectly executed a reverse onside kick that the Owls recovered near midfield. The drive stalled when McHargue's fourth-and-4 pass fell incomplete.
UH had taken a commanding lead on a pair of touchdown passes by O'Korn a 28-yarder to Deontay Greenberry late in the third quarter and a 32-yarder to Ryan Jackson to begin the fourth quarter.
The O'Korn-to-Greenberry connection was again dangerous for the Cougars.
Greenberry had his second consecutive 100-yard receiving game, finishing with six receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown.
O'Korn, who replaced injured starter David Piland, was 15-of-33 for 281 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.
He briefly left the game in first half and was replaced by backup Greg Ward, who had nine carries for 80 yards.
After scoring a pair of first-quarter touchdowns, Rice went 10 consecutive possessions without scoring until Taylor McHargue scored on a 1-yard run with 10:52 left in the game.
The Cougars defense followed up its solid performance two weeks earlier against Temple, holding the Owls to 160 yards total offense after halftime.
Turner Petersen had five catches for 102 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown on the opening drive of the game, for the Owls.
The two rivals are not scheduled to play beyond this season with both now in different conferences.

Attendance was 34,000. I counted 19 Rice fans at the game.

The O'Kron-Greenberry connection is showing promise.
D has to play better though but they did come up with 5 turnovers in the 4th quarter.
Then again, when was the last time people were truly impressed with our D?Agree about O'Korn-Greenberry connection. Something to look forward to.
Yes, D had 5 turnovers in the 4th but, perhaps UTSA' QB is forcing just a little too much? Anyway, I am not convinced about UH' D. Hopefully, somehow Coog's D can improve.
Then again, when was the last time people were truly impressed with our D?![]()
Did not know UH was 4-0 to start the season. Hope they don't get run over by BYU.

Be sure to click the "East" view also.
25-15 Coogs! and still unbeaten 5-0. A tough schedule to come. Go Coogs.
yeah but the way they have played i believe they can compete with anyone.
Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin, who coached Keenum at UH, said of the news, Its really a neat situation for him. Heres a guy who was an undrafted free agent who was coming off a sixth year of eligibility after a devastating knee injury. What a great story. Its just a testament to his passion and his hard work and his demeanor to work through all of those things and then be able to start his first NFL game after not even being on the active roster.
Everybody has got an idea what a prototypical quarterback looks like. The way the game is played now they come in all sizes and theres no doubt Case has always had the ability to play at a high level, and he was consistent (at UH) in doing so. You dont set the NCAA (passing) record just by luck. He knows what hes doing. Hes looking forward to this opportunity and I look for him to take full advantage of it.
Sumlin said he had texted Keenums father congratulations, saying: As a coach, when you have players like Case, youre almost like a parent. Youre always rooting for them like theyre one of your kids. Im just happy for his whole family. Theres probably not been a story of a guy whos gone through what hes gone through and to get to start in the NFL after not even having been activated.
Sumlin choked up, then continued.
Hes gone from sweats to starting, he said, chuckling. Theres a little bit of pressure involved in that.
Exhausting game. UH comes up short 47-46.
Although we lost we played pretty well. BYU has one hell of a defense, our D looked less than average today for sure. Atleast this game was aired nationally. I actually feel better about UH after this game than i did before.
