2013 TT Member Mock Draft Discussion

Hey guys, I just updated the google spreadsheet. If possible, please keep your selections and announcements to this syntax: Player name, Position, School

If you use the commas, it's really easy for me to parse the data and copy/paste it. I fixed the names in the spreadsheet and the selections thread so that all spaces and hyphens have been removed to make it easier for me. If you guys can keep that up, I can keep the spreadsheet up to date much easier.

Wait, can you make it clearer?

I second WolverineFan, Bernard would be an absolute steal. Michael Turner is old and Bernard is much better than Jacquizz Rodgers.

They cut Turner and signed Steven Jackson but the point remains the same.

Jackson has a year or two left at best and Quiz, while a great player, is limited. Bernard would be a great pick here because he could learn behind Jackson and eventually replace him. Not to mention his skill set fits this offense perfectly. He would give the run game the explosion that it has not had for quite some time.

Bills getting Kolb
OAK getting Flynn
ARZ trading for Palmer
KC getting Smith
CLE signing Campbell and having Weeden
Is there a chance Geno slips to HOU and if he did would they take him?

Jags could take him at #2

Doesn't mean one or two of those teams won't take a QB in the first.

I think the Jags will take him, but they could opt to suck for another year to maybe have a shot at the Johnny Manziel-Teddy Bridgewater-Tajh Boyd lottery.

There's an OLB I'm looking at for the Cards so I'm going to sit this pick out.

No NT is worth taking. IMHO

With McClure retiring C is also a position of need.

Bernard ahead of Montee Ball? If I was picking a RB I would pick Ball over Bernard...

They signed Steven Jackson to replace Turner...but how much does he have left in the tank?

OK, I'll bite. Two votes for Ball.
To be honest, I don't study the RBs too much, so I really can't compare the two of them.

If you follow the No Spin Zone, notice that I used "to", "too", and "two" in the same sentence, LOL!

I'd vote Bernard over Ball. Maybe the UNC homer in me but I think Bernard is a better back.

On the clock at 11:45 A.M. Monday

31 93 San Francisco - Wolverine Fan

32 94 Baltimore - Rock-N-Randy
33 95 Houston - Corrosion
34 96 Kansas City - Wolf 6151
35 97 Tennessee - Senor Stan

With the 93rd pick in the NFL Mock Draft the San Francisco 49ers select Jordan Reed, TE, Florida.

We have corrosion and wolf's picks in hand, so Señor Stan, please get ready as soon as RNR makes his selection.

Baltimore selects ...

Gavin Escobar, TE, San Diego State

I believe Pitta and Dickerson are both FAs after the season
Doubt both will be returning which means there will be a void at the TE spot
Escobar is a well rounded TE and solid value here.

With the 95th pick in the NFL Mock Draft (Corrosion) the HOUSTON TEXANS select Cornelius Washington, OLB, Georgia.

With the 96th pick in the NFL Mock Draft the Kansas City Chiefs (Wolf 6151) select Kiko Alonso, LB, Oregon.

Sorry it took me a while Senor Stan, (Work)

With the 97th pick the Tennessee Titans select...

Tyler Wilson, QB, Akansas

Highway Robbery for the BESF.

I wanted Bray last round and ended up with Sio Moore. Almost took Wilson then and I really surprised he is still hanging around...

Sooo...Jake clean out your Locker!

1. Ziggy Ansah DE BYU
2. Tyler Eifer TE Notre Dame
3. Sio Moore OLB UConn
3 (supplemental) Tyler Wilson QB Arkansas

Almost took him with Miami, but he was so much like Dustin Keller. I still would have taken him with my next Miami pick. Reminds me of Aaron Hernandez a little bit with his versatility. He is not as fast but can be moved around alot. Reed has some deceptive strength in his run after catch. I think he could be a valuable mismatch. Good pick.
