Maybe so, but that doesn't take away from the fact that Ray Lewis has done the things he has. Frankly, I'm sick of hearing about him. As far am I'm concerned, he's joined the ranks of Tebow and P. Manning on my list of I DON'T GIVE A **** ABOUT YOU OR YOUR GODDAMNED LIFE ALL OVER MY GODDAMNED TV ASSWIPE!!!!
 
At least when Tebow invoked God at every turn, he hadn't lived the life Ray Lewis has. We'll spend the next two weeks hearing about how great God is in Ray Lewis' eyes. Ugh.
 
Is there already a Football Wives reality show? If not, seems there are some potential characters lining up.

Welker's just seems like a sore ***** of a loser. And then on top of it all, she is lying. Ray Lewis has never been married, lol.

For me, football season is over with. I don't check NFLN for anything anymore, and the Seahawks are as dead as the Texans. I don't care one tiny bit about the Super Bowl now. Until free agency starts, I'm done with football except for the chatter on this board. Besides Ray Lewis and God, there is also Harbowl I that I don't want to hear about either.

This is exactly how I feel, I thought I was the only one who felt this way.

Football is over. It's now just a distant sound that I have muted out with other things. I don't even post here as much as I normally do.

So far, my work life has improved. My happiness is higher than it has been since late April. And my family seems happier. I think there might be some sort of connection here.... :thinking:

It's never too late to change and give your life to God. I'm proof of that. God is great in Ray's eyes, and Ray is great in God's eyes. We have all sinned and fallen short of God's Glory.

LOL, I can understand the guys liking the eye candy. Personally, I like Mrs. Brady's (eye candy as well) dig that her husband couldn't pass and catch the same effing ball. Priceless, Mrs. Welker.

She could've just as easily said she doesnt like ray lewis because he's a raven and been just as effective....instead she starts listing off crap...most of which has nothing to do with football..and her husband playing football is the only reason anyone cares what she says.

I wonder if she feels the same way about brady? He played house with bridget moynahan, got her preggers and promptly left her for his current squeeze.....before his child was even born with moynahan no less.

Like i said she needs to shut up and play her role as eye candy.

Why exactly is this embarassing to Welker? We're assuming that he doesn't feel this way too. Maybe he does.

Ray Lewis is a great linebacker and a terrible person. JMO.

Tebow never said that God caused him to win or lose a game--Lewis did. Tebow only ever said that he prayed for God to give him the strength to handle the outcome whether he won or lost.

Noone really knows what happenned that night at the club, all we do know is that a fight broke out people were stabbed and someone lost their life it's a shame. Since that night, he hasn't been in a single instance of trouble since if he was a constant troublemaker i'd be more apt to label him as being involved as patterns like that tend to show themselves over time.

Dunno, my .02 is let the man be, he'll have to deal with it at some point in time, and you can only hope more good than bad has come from it.

Im in the same boat that you are in. I hope should I ever fall in trouble one day that a lot of the people here dont sit on the jury.

Why do you expect a jury to overlook your collaboration with murderers?

Cooperate with the police investigation and don't throw away evidence and you have nothing to worry about.

Maybe he started the fight, but didn't take it that far and felt responsible? I dunno I was not there, this isn't as clear cut to me as it was for OJ, and OJ has continued his streak of just whacked out behavior.

People are going to believe what they want to believe But lets not act like there aren't at least a couple of other viable reasons why he settled..dude's career/livlihood was on the line...the risk of losing even a few years of playing could've completely derailed this dude's career....And it still may not have become any clearer what his involvement was.
