Not a need position but If I am correct, WR will not be addressed by Texans unless Woods falls. Our first round could be BPA and take NT Nicks second and Andrew Jackson in 3rd

I think we have that type runner in Forsett, although Bernard would be cheaper and may be a better receiver. I have him about mid third round now.

Picks are based off my own assessments of team needs half way point of NFL season along with College prospects play to date who will most likely be eligible for next years draft in April. I reserve to make adjustments, of course as the draft approaches (stay fluid my friends) College season ends & playoffs finish in NFL. Then its on to East West Shriner, Senior Bowl & Combine before prospects make last impressions during Pro-days. But nothing beats game film, life blood of scouts, those interested now is the time to pay attention & take notes. Just sharing some of my own

Depends on his personal needs for money. Football wise, if not a first round remain in school. I do not think this is a strong running back class. What do you think about your Nose Louis Nicks 3?

I could see both the Giants or Falcons taking Eifert if available if things change who I have graded slightly ahead of last years #34th draft selection, Indianapolis Colts TE Coby Fleener. Currently slotted four WR's drafted before Texans selection, Allen, Hunter, Patterson & Woods (this years Kendall Wright). Then there is a drop-off just like last year so we're looking @ another Brian Quick, Stephen Hill, Jeffery Alshon, Rueben Randle model.....

Tyler Eifert is a sure thing. Really bolsters & fits seamlessly into Texan TE rotation while improving inline blocking & shading the tackle position for better pass pro. Eventually, maybe sooner than later, would prove to be equal if not superior weapon to our own Dallas Clarke clone, Owen Daniels. The key is improvement in blocking scheme, like adding a quality OT to help Newton or shutdown another teams top speed rusher. Supreme route runner, smart, fundamental sound hand position (ball never gets into body uses hands) & excellent footwork.

Do you mean Sylvester Williams?

He has some quickness for sure for a man of his size, but the issue I've had some of this year is that our D-Line as a whole seems to have trouble getting pressure at times. He does well at the run stop and does make plays. He definitely has streaks of brilliance where he seems like he's getting penetrations, or plugging the run for a short/no gain. But then a few plays later the QB has way to much time in the pocket leading to coverage breakdowns.

Granted, I haven't rewatched any of the games this year in an evaluative way. It's all been as a fan, and mostly live so I don't have a great view of what's going on.

Agree but having him drop is the key. Most polls have him late first althugh Walter #20. You cannot improve RT without spending high round this draft, imo.

I think a lot of that rep comes from the work under Butch Davis. Whether or not you think he knew of what was going on here with the academic scandals, he should have if he didn't. So I think it was part of his style/philosophy that led to slack guys. I think with the change over to Larry Fedora a lot of that will disappear. He seems to have got his stuff together and the teams (we have tended to play much better in the second half after adjustments / whatever he does in the locker room).

I think that he has a good motor. Not at the JJ Watt level (but I'm not sure anyone is at that level), but I think he puts in more than Quiton Coples, who disappointed last year.

Reddick is definitely an athletic kid and has the physical ability to play at the next level. And he definitely has the ability to make plays. In the NC State game he came up big when we needed the defense to.

However, it is true he can disappear on plays away from him which has been a disappointment this season. I want to say that these are things that can be fixed if he gets into the right environment in the NFL, but it is worrying that he does this the year before he goes into the draft and he should be playing his absolute hardest.

I like to think the real Reddick is more like the one at the end of the NC State game, but if I was in charge of drafting I don't think I would look at Reddick at all before the 3rd round. Granted, my interest with the draft and reading mocks and all that just started last year for real, so take this all with a grain of salt.
