Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars. Noon. 9/16. **Official GameDay Thread**

True that, however doesn't it feel like Texans are better than that now? Save it for Peyton in Denver next week.

If we get a couple of scores in the 3rd then I'm with you in resting them in the 4th quarter maybe, but first thing's first in stopping them when they come out with their 1st possession in the second half.

Yes, we are better than that now, but, we still have the same mousy, mealy-mouthed, worry-wart, hand-wringing head coach.

Also, heck, we're already resting Andre. Isn't that enough?

It seems like Baltimore just grabs all the players that we have to cut because of cap. I hate that, develop your own dam players. :aggressive:

I was not a happy lurvy in the 4th quarter, But I expected a loss, I was just glad that they were able to stay in the game and compete. I feel good about our National championship chances. If we can move the ball on Baylor, we can move it on any FCS team. Just need to go back to the option. The only thing that sucked about is, was there were some real douchey bear fans talking about how SHSU isn't a real college and how long does it take to get a GED at sam? It was insulting, but we kept talking smack back to him.

That was a good game, closer than the score shows....depth killed us.

Just one more thing to consider when comparing the quality of your coaching staff & organization.

I'm not going to use the word elite when describing Kareem Jackson, but when he is able to keep the play in front of him.... he purt darn gud..

I have no affinity for CJ or any Titans player, but I have always like Munchak and Matthews. They are solid citizens and were great Oiler players for years.

Great!! Yes they were!!!

At the end of the day I hope they fail miserably while with the Evil Empire... Buck FUD!!!!

I'm just praying for no injuries at this point. Feels too much like the Tampa game last year where we lost Schaub.

thats on kubiak.. those extra 5 yards of punting room really paid off. cut this conservative bs already and open up the offense..

Thank you, those points courtesy of patented Gary Kubiak Bull**** Playcalling System.

I knew we were basically conceding points on our last possession. Everyone looked very uninspired on all three downs, because the players didn't believe in the calls Kubiak was serving up.

I know this team too well. Aggressive at the beginning, build a lead, bull**** go-nowhere playcalling, then ratchet up the offense again when the other team scores.

Kinda small minded don't you think? As long as we get more AFC South, AFC, & Super Bowl Championships than they do.... shouldn't that be enough?

Like dude said, Munchak & Matthews are good people, with common ties to you & everyone who followed Houston Sports.

I'd wish them well, just not as well as the people of Houston & the Houston Texans.

Exactly. We always start well, yet end up playing catch up in the fourth quarter.

I sometimes wonder if Kubiak goes into cruise control because he does "run the score up."
