are all of you guys basing your picks on knowledge learned after the draft? take Posey for instance, now that we know his background checks are clean can you honestly evaluate his on the field ability even if you have to go back two years?
I had Sanu rated higher than Posey pre-draft because Posey wasn't even on my board character/off the field issues.
Childs is coming off acl that shelved him the entire last season. Also would be based off tape two years ago, coming off injury.
Back to Posey. The Senior bowl also hurt his stock. Showed rust, could not finish plays or make easy catches. Which is a bit confusing because even though he couldn't play for Ohio State he was present @ all their practices working out & helping teammates, one would have thought he should have seized his opportunity to prove something to scouts. Well guess he did because Texans were there & liked what they saw, minus the drops. He has as good of ability to get off man as Blackmon or Floyd, he just doesn't have similar hands. Best described as average to better than average.
When all is said & done I don't think Texans could have done much better addressing someone who can become a true #2 WR in 3rd rd. while adding critical depth on the DL.
