Arkansas' Bobby Petrino put on leave, admits relationship

Arkansas put football coach Bobby Petrino on paid leave Thursday after he failed to disclose he had been riding with a female employee half his age when his motorcycle skidded off the road over the weekend — an accident that prompted him to apologize for that and for what he described as a "previous inappropriate relationship."
Athletic director Jeff Long announced the decision at a late-night press conference and said he had no timeline in determining Petrino's future with the Razorbacks.
"I'm at the beginning of the review. I don't know what I'm going to find," Long said. "I hope to have a resolution soon. I certainly don't have all the answers here tonight, as we meet. But again, I have an obligation and responsibility to obtain the information and then act appropriately on that information."

Well, she just couldn't resist Petrino's crotch rocket. This is probably the best thing that ever happened to the swimming coach at Arkansas (her fiance). Better to catch her doing this stuff before he said I do. Everybody knew that this guys morals left something to be desired when he resigned from the Falcon's head coaching job with 3 games left in the season and lying to Arthur Blank shortly before taking the job at Arkansas (blessing in disguise). Now his wife will take him to the cleaners, what goes around comes around.
 
I think it was due to the fact that he was slammin his coworker's fiance (one the swimming coaches). Yes he had a higher post but that could not have gone over with the athletic director. He seemed to have lied about it too.

Anyone else think that his wounds don't look like he was in a motorcycle crash? And how on earth does some chick riding on the back of a motorcycle not have any injuries after wiping out on a motorcycle? He's got a neckbrace and she has a Winnie the Pooh bandaid. That's it? C'mon, that doesn't happen. I bet the fiancee found out and went to town on Petrino's face with a croquet mallet.
 
This dude will be football poison ivy when this is all said and done If he does land a HC job it's likely going to be for some team like this..

Eh, i don't feel sorry for him. 1st he'll probably get paid to appear on the bachelor or some other cheesy reality show...then once his 15 minutes are up, He'll likely wind up with someone that's alot hotter than his ex-fiance.........imagine chicks flocking to this guy b/c they know that he's the victim in all this.....and b/c they know he's marriage material to boot.

Yes... because getting over a broken heart is that easy. The guy (apparently) loved this woman, and she betrayed him. That sucks, and I feel for the dude.
 
He will get plenty of attention from new women. Nothing helps you forget like a woman willing to please.

OR.....maybe he was cheating on her too & hadn't really found a way out until this....or maybe she was a bi-otch and he was a simp that has never commanded much attention from women. Point is, I don't think we can assume anything about either person.

Either way, i don't feel sorry for him b/c there's been enough precedent set to indicate that the victims in these types of situations inevitably end up better off..........unless you count the hollywood types.

No, the problem was he had a relationship with her that no one knew about, then he gave her a job under him (pun intended) and also gave her a $20K bonus.

Do you guys go through life going through women in terms of hotness? Date a 4 until you meet a 5 that will take you, date that 5 until a 6 will take you and so on? This dude (I assume) had feelings for this woman, more than just lust (which, according to you guys, is the only reason women exist). It would suck to have that, and then lose it in a public fashion.

C'mon rmartin, "hotness" is all emcompassing, at least to me anyway. It's looks, personality and anything else you might deem important to you for a life partner. For some guys its whether she can throw down in the kitchen, for others personality weighs huge in their assessment. I know my wife wouldn't be as hot to me if she wasn't as athtletic and tough (in a female way) as she is. & yeah, most guys do what you're describing...its called DATING.

i don't know how old homie is, but if he's about as old as she is (27) he's still got a window to keep on trying to upgrade.
