So you didn't see the Washington or KC games last year or the TN, St. Louis and Patriots games in 2009?

One could argue that Yates did it with a Division Title on the line, ON THE ROAD
against a team fighting for its playoff LIFE. Schaub never won a road game with
such high stakes for BOTH teams.

The Patriots sat a bunch of their starters, and pulled Tom Brady.

I guess one could see the "spark" in TJ, that is just not visible in Schaub.
Some of us think the "it" factor is one you'd like to see out of your starting
quarterback.

In my opinion, the Texans do not have a "Brees vs. Rivers" situation. It's
starting to look like "Carlson vs. Mcnair" with Schaub playing the role of
Cody.

You guys are way ahead of yourselves. Yates has started two games now, and it's not like he has walked into a stadium and thrown for 4 TD's and 400 yards in either of them. Yeah, he is looking like he has pretty nice potential and he had a great comeback drive, but how you could just all of a sudden put him over a guy that has been a top 10 QB over the last few years that is seasoned like Schaub has proven to be is pretty ridiculous. Schaub has thrown for several 4,000 yard seasons. He's not playing with this nasty lights out defense that Yates is. Oh wait he has, and he was on like a 5 or 6 game winning streak with this same team.

The disrespect that Schaub gets on this site is just crazy.

I agree, to a point. Several posters have had issues with Matt Schaub for quite some time. & his 4000 yards had nothing to do with it.

I do agree we're jumping the gun on the kid, but he's looked better than he should have over the last 10 qtrs of football. If he keeps it up, we will have a controversy.
