I've seen complex "looks" thus far by Wade Phillips.

I've seen Mario standing up. Seen him with a hand down. He's been a LB, he's been on the line. I've seen lots of guys on the line, and I've seen 3 guys on the line. I've seen guys switching sides.

Does anybody here NOT understand that I am not asking to see Mario at NT the whole time? I mean, is it too much to say that any of the previous 4-3 lineman--even if they are considered to be LBs in this 3-4 now--could stand to get some dirt under their fingernails a few times?

Once again, you just do a drive-by and make no real attempt to join the conversation. Shoot into the home's window and keep driving on. Typical.

Seems to be a thing with ICak and Lucky. Icak is much better at argueing a point, though IMHO. In all fairness, I did pick the fight with Lucky in the trade MW thread. I didn't like his attitude in that thread.

I try very hard to "argue the point(s) only" rather than make snarky drive-by comments that add no value to the ideas being displayed by 99% of the other posters, but just because a person deems my idea to be "wrong" I get slammed and it's also OK to be treated poorly for it.

That's what has always concerned me here. Generally, there's too much slack given for personal insults. It gets branded as "good natured ribbing in the midst of football talk," but I see more name-calling and insulting than I do the actual debating of the points.

But...this is still very easily the best Texans message board. Maybe even the best NFL message board out there, as well. It's not a huge disappointment to me, but it is a minor annoyance.

When you resort to name calling, et al, you've already lost the argument. Unfortunately, I'm as guilty as anybody.
