Im not going to do a detailed report on the players due to most have been posted before but here goes:
Round 1 (11) - Robert Quinn OLB, North Carolina
Other Possibility - Aldon Smith OLB, Missouri
Round 2 (10) - Quinton Carter S, Alabama
Round 3 (09) - Ras-I Dowling CB, Virginia
Round 4 (08) - Ian Williams NT, Notre Dame
Round 5 (07) - Andrew Jackson G, Fresno State
Last year was rated one of the better guards in the country but due to injury in 2010 has fallen off the radar, at round 5 i think this would be an incredible pick up. not much should be expected of him but should add a lot of depth and a lot of upside. Athletic, should work well in our zone scheme.
Also played in the East/West shrine game for the West which was coached by Phillips
Round 6 (13) - Chykie Brown CB, Texas
Has great athleticism but poor technique, if vance can coach him up he could possible compete for the nickel position in our team in the 2nd half of the year. IMO a good project in the 6th
Round 7 (12) - Jerrod Johnson QB, Texas A&M
LOL. Just seems to be the most likely
I would have liked to get a WR in the draft but i just couldn't fit it in.
Unless we trade for some more picks around round 3-4 its difficult to fit in.
Im also assuming that we are moving Glover Quinn to FS that is why i picked up two CBs and only one S
THE DREAM!!!!!:
We some how trade with san diego because they fall in love with aldon smith. They give us a 2nd and 3rd.
Round 1 (18) - Justin Houston OLB, Georgia
Round 2 (10) - Torrey Smith WR/KR, Maryland
Round 2 (18) - Quinton Carter S, Alabama
Round 3 (09) - Ras-I Dowling CB, Virginia
Round 3 (18) - Dontay Moch, OLB, Nevada
A poor mans Von Miller
Round 4 (08) - Ian Williams NT, Notre Dame
Round 5 (07) - Andrew Jackson G, Fresno State
Round 6 (13) - Chykie Brown CB, Texas
Round 7 (12) - Jerrod Johnson QB, Texas A&M
I understand this is highly unlikely and is pretty much a joke and a little bit of fun but we can dream
