Texans At Broncos Gameday Thread

This thread is indicitive of this football season. Halfway through the game there are only 8 pages in this thread. Normally there are almost 20 at this time in the game. As far as the game, either the Texans are playing loose now that there is nothing to play for or the ponies are that bad of a football team. I say bofe.
 
I'm hoping we CRUSH the Broncos today....helps Kubes look good for his future employer. I expect next week will be just as brutal in reverse.

I worry that McNair will let the injuries skew the overall picture of how this season has unfolded.

Day after Christmas, it's been quiet all weekend
 
I don't think we will have a bad half. This is what I've decided. The Texans and their coach don't do well under pressure of any kind. When they were 4-2, everyone expected great things and they fell apart until they were down so far it really didn't seem to matter - pressure gone and they played well. Then they catch up. Pressure on and time to choke again. When the pressure is off, Kubiak is even better at play calling.

haha ya. was anybody listening to the commentators saying what kubiak was saying to them last night. def sounded like hes pretty sure he'll be here next yr

Everything points to him being here.

Steady improvement, one down year because of a few bad personnel decisions... they'll give him a chance at a bounce back year.

As long as they get a non-Kubs related DC in here I'm not going to be super upset if he stays.
If they get another Kub-buddy here for DC, that will be a different matter.
 
"Could have gone for 64 yds"..........that's impressive. Why has he had problems in the past with long FGs???????.....He does it routinely in practice.

Side note: The play-by-play man is Don Criqui, a veteran broadcaster. He used to do A LOT of Oilers games...brings back memories...

that was exaggeration by the commentator. cleared it comfortably

in practice before games, you dont have guys rushing to block so you can kick it slower and ensure best connection im guessing
 
Why does Schaub always take the 5 yd completion when it's 3rd and 11?
