I feel sick as hell, and really can't do this today. I'm just going to do it tomorrow. I'm sorry about the inconvenience but the thought of dealing with all the money and orders and shipping, I just dont' want it today. I'm going back to bed with apologies to all.

Imma put this out there (SWT I'm still in) - I think this would be a great xmas present for my 12 year old, just not sure of the jersey size for him. Thin build, just over 5' or so. He has a youth XL in reebok's screen printed version of the jersey. Perhaps an adult small? Anyone with a suggestion?

This is my first order, so I'm not intirely sure. I have a tracking number. They are all coming to my place, and I'm being assured our order went out yesterday. I will know more on the next order.

Also, I have to be honest about something. I made a mistake with the people I sold to with the pricing. My friend was under the impression that I was hand delivering jerseys to the people that ordered them. I have to ship to 3 people once the package arrives at my house. Paypal fees took out the money i was going to use to ship so on this first order I am going to lose money on all of the jerseys I sold, because I was trying to do it at cost for you guys. So Nitro, Lee, and Zack, I will get with you and i will make this right and take the loss on the product shipping to you guys. I'm sorry. Future jerseys I'm going to have to sell for 75 dollars to account for the paypal fees they took and the shipping im going to have to make for you individually. I'm honoring my initial price, and not asking for more money but If any of you are close enough to webster that I can meet you or hand deliver it would help minimize my losses. I'm new at this and I'm learning as I go. Im sorry for the mixup.
 
swtbound wanted me to relay that he's having a rough time at this stage in his life. He's coming to grips with a slight drug issue. His family has him in rehab right now. He's trying to fix his life. He's doing okay now though. He just needed a little help. We all do sometimes, ya know? He also wanted me to say that he'll be allright.

For those of you who have not yet recieved your jerseys, just contact swt and I'm sure he'll make it right by getting those jerseys out to you asap. He has them in hand.
 
So... I ordered and paid for three jerseys. $180 for two adults and one youth.

Swtbound posts that he underestimated the price of the jerseys. I, of course, felt that the right thing to do was send him an extra $30 to help cover these fees. It's just how I am. He stated that he appreciated it and my jerseys would be mailed the following day... this was approximately 3 weeks ago on November 16th.

I waited until last Monday before calling swtbound to touch base on where my jerseys were. It was then when he gave me his drug sob story. He said he'd have his girlfriend mail them out but I told him no... I'd like to pick them up so I would have them in time for the Tennessee game. I scheduled a meet and arranged to come to Houston the night before JUST TO PICK UP THE JERSEYS.

All's good then he texts me saying that he has to go out of town to Huntsville. I tell him he can drop it off in Pasadena but he told me he was leaving the jerseys with his neighbor. Uncomfortable but I say fine. I leave for Webster from Pflugerville which is in the Austin area... I ask for the address. He gives it to me. I punch it into my GPS but the address didn't exactly come up but I figured it wouldn't be hard. I drive four hours and near Webster before picking up my phone only to find a message from swt saying that his "friend" forgot about me and left to go play poker. Infuriated I decide to go to the address anyway since i was already in Webster. I ended up staring at a big empty field. Bogus address. ABSOLUTELY BOGUS!!!!!!

Next day, I go to the game and tell this to a couple of people who then proceeded to tell me that they have had shady dealings with swtbound as a buyer who did not pay for items that he had ordered.

Almost another week has passed without him making good on his empty promises. I'm done with it.

Give me my money back. Every last cent.

I ordered two jerseys also. Last I heard from him was right after Nitro went to Webster, though I did not know it at the time. He told me the jerseys had been mailed that day. They still have not shown up.

I am also done, just give me my money back. Every last cent.

Real shame to find someone doing this to people that trusted them.

Never again.

Thank you! I really don't quite know how to handle this. I am old school. And I am an old curmudgeon.

I know how I would handle it in any other situation, but I am in a quandry here because I consider all of TTMB to be extended family.

Perhaps I just found out who the red-headed step child of this family is...

Thing is, I came here becuase my roommate is a user here and he always talked about how great this place was and what a great community it was. It be unfortunate if one of the family did this.

Excuse me for thinking it, I just hope this whole thing was not one giant scam to get drug money...

I'm sorry. Those of you that know me broke down and spent a lot of money for Authentic custom jerseys!!! I also, spent money at the NFL.com for other customized jerseys (not authentic, but replicas), and I have been very, very pleased..


Remember, you get what you pay for. :D

This has been a colossal screwup on my part from the start. The guy I partnered with and I backed has kinda screwed me. The jerseys I have you guys will have. The money you spent will be refunded anyway. I clearly am in way over my head with this stuff. I shipped once, and had it bounce back for insufficient postage. I'll make this right. You shouldn't have to pay for my stupidity, and I'm done selling jerseys. Not worth this.

Well Now I have changed my mind again as you have screwed some friends that I told to trust your ass. *edit* I am more mad now that I was when I wrote that post. I should have known. I was ready to order for my friends and family too. Thank God I didn't. I was wondering when they would be here.. was starting to get a little worried and then saw this thread. I can deal with the fact that I made a stupid decision to trust someone and my lose money out of the ordeal, but I figured 10k posts meant you were a little committed to the community. WTF was I thinking?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I consider you guys to be just like family. As big of a fan as I am, tailgating with you guys is as much a part of the fun of the game as anything else. Man I'm sick about this. I've bought tickets (for quite a bit more money) off of here and so I figured this was pretty safe.

OK. I made the suggestion in private and I'm going to make it publicly. Its my suggestion and honestly its up to Ben to do what he wants. I was pissed but I realize that stuff happens in life.

Ben,

Post something on the board. Explain the situation and what happened. If you got over your head in this then say so. Life happens and we are all friends on here. People are pissed because it looks like this is a scam. My advice is that you give everyone a choice. Let them either get a full refund. Post that you will be automatically processing refunds for people if they don't reply by a certain date. I would say EARLY next week to give people on the board a chance to see this message. Tell them if they still want their jersey to contact you and that you will give them a discount of some percentage. 10/25, whatever it is a show of good faith. There will be people that want their refund immediately and just do that. It isn't realistic for you to eat everyone's money and nobody, I believe, really expects that. Whatever date you say though, you ABSOLUTELY MUST follow through. If its going to take you a week to get the money together then say so. Don't give a deadline that you can't meet. That will, from what I can tell, get people to consider taking legal action.

We know you're not in an easy situation and once people start to see that you're trying to make amends they will be more likely to understand. I wouldn't be aggressive OR private. Do everything publicly. Nobody wants to be promised the world they just want what you can realistically do and I don't think anyone wants you to eat the price of their jersey.

This place kind of like a family. Treat people like they are though and just be honest about the situation. I'm kind of a newcomer here. I've only been around a couple of years, and we talk about personal situations and important stuff. We ask for advice. Maybe you're scamming, and that will come out too... but if you really want to fix it and continue your friendships you need to do something... and tell people what's going on. You've got their money and they have a right to know why they don't have a jersey or their money back by now.



To everyone else:

You might think I'm being too easy. Lets remember we've all, especially in our youth 'you ol' timers you', promised something and then not been able to deliver. I don't care what the reason was, we got scared and only made the situation worse. I know Ben's talked to some people offline and do as you people wish. I'm trying to make it easy to fix and give Ben an out. God knows I made mistakes when I was trying to run a computer business about Ben's age. It cost me more than I put into it and I still wound up with people unsatisfied, but thankfully I had someone give me some good advice. Ben if you make it right and give the whole, real story you'll regain some of what you lost. That's not an easy thing to do. You can also just ignore me or go the other way. If you're scamming it will be easy to tell. If it was an honest mistake then just man up and people are much more likely to give you a break. I wouldn't do any more private communication though. Do it all above board so everyone has the same story and noone is wondering what is going on (other than payment/personal information of course). Make your commitments here though.

Buddy, don't pull a Clemens. If you want to make this right be honest with everyone.

Did your buddy have a jersey store, or did you and a friend decide to try to resell counterfeit jerseys (i.e. China, etc.) for a mark up and make a little money for being the middle man?

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with wanting to make a little money and if things went wrong, just tell everyone things went wrong. After that you can work with folks to make things right.

Just wanted to let everyone know I got my jersey's from swt today. Very nice jerseys. I will try to post pics later, but I am happy. Took a bit long to get them, but the quality is higher than I expected.

Great to hear that JB. Saw Nitro's sig the other day and wondered what that was about, then found this thread today. What an ordeal! From the "grassy lot" to a mention of drugs...What a saga! Glad it worked out for at least one person. Maybe now no one's gotta "Get a rope!"

JMO but the jerseys that swtbound posted look just like the $25 Chinese knock offs. You can tell from the LARGE numbers and floppy collar. I ordered some from someone else on this board (element337), but I paid $25 and expected Chinese knock offs. Also had a bit of a delay issue from the shipping from China.

I compared my red Mario to my authenic red AJ. The only difference I can see is that the letters are very slightly smaller.
 
Glad everything (for the most part) got straightened out for you guys. While y'all are at it.. would you like to buy me some beer? :lol:
