Fashion Break! Army goes all-camo for latest leg of postseason push

Florida's doing the "Pro Combat" thing today at Georgia, but Army was gung ho for an actual combat motif in a 29-7 win over the Virginia Military Institute. It's not the first time the academy has incorporated camouflage in its game day unis before, but never from head-to-toe. You can draw your own conclusions, but Miss USA digs the camo.

Camo is pretty cool, but not that kind of camo. That's a realyl shitty camo to use in my opinion when there are so many cooler ones to use. I do like the idea though.
 
Hate to be the jerk here, but camo is usually ugly. It's not supposed to look good in the first place; it's practical for the military. What I see is a bunch of guys that look like the dirt and mud were already painted on....or somebody threw up on them.

That helmet looks like some plain white, elementary school age kid's helmet with mud already all over it. I know the military is popular and perception is reality, but...

I don't actually care, though--JMO.

Which is why it works for a military academy whereas it wouldn't work for a civilian institution.

Yeah, I'll have to just agree to disagree. Camo on a football field would be green with white stripes. I doubt that green berets wear camo underwear just because it's the military. I know I'm being a smart-***, so I'll just get out of this thread.

When I was in the Army I wore the Army issue brown boxers all the time. I even wore them with civilian clothes.
 
Those Nike "Combat Armor" uniforms keep getting uglier every year. This is the worst one I've seen yet.
 
I remember a game last season where South Carolina wore a "Combat Armor" uniform that had camo accents for the Wounded Warrior Project. That was pretty cool.

This is overkill.

Camo + spandex = don't ask, don't tell.

They're not the only ones. Texas Tech will be wearing camo-trimmed uniforms against Missouri.
