Coach Snelson at Memorial does an AWESOME JOB! I wanted him to beat the Deer! He and I grew up together. I was very HAPPY! I could care less about Deer Park football.......as long as DP beat the pups! Iowa state putting it to TU...Memorial beating DP.... Yankees losing..... this is going turning out to be a GREAT WEEKEND.... only thing that could be even better is Texans winning.... but they don't play. We FINALLY AGREE on something!

What's a playoff birth? Is that when the regular season gives birth to the playoffs?
If that's the case, then it'll be a good Christmas for you. A playoff "birth" is guaranteed every year by the NFL.

He already lost that. He played some against Rice. Since he lost his RS he should get some playing time IMO.

I like the receivers. No all americans, but they can get the job done. I have thought Malcolm Williams has been vastly underused all season. Along with Cody Johnson at tailback.
The problem is Gilbert. He just hasnt gotten the job done. And who knows besides himself or the coaches when it will click for him.

I disagree. The receiving corp is poor. One of the problems is UT likes to recruit these ATH rather than traditional Wrs.
Williams has talent but can't put it all together. He could have been the next Roy Williams but he does not concentrate enough.

the recievers are average
the rb's are average
& the defense is vastly overrated...
But the real problem is that O-line..they are terrible & its effecting everything they try to do on offense. I don't think i've ever seen a UT qb get hit or run for their life so much.

I agree the O line is a big problem as they need to give the QB time. BUT, the receivers need to catch the ball. These receivers cannot run routes and their pass catching is suspect. The receivers were protected in the past with Shipley and Crosby.
It looks like the Raiders have a better chance of having birth in the playoffs.

i almost wonder if the program is at fault for signing underclassmen early. these guys just expect to win because they are horns. then comes the question of player development. they should have stayed with a zone read system. which loss is worse, ucla or iowa st.?

Too bad Baylor doesn't have anything even resembling a defense. If they did they might have a chance at staying at the top. They are puttin up some points and Griffin is pretty awesome.
