2010 Uniform Combinations

KMG 365

Waterboy
The Texans have the uniform combinations listed for the home games.

Preseason (jersey color / pants color)

Saturday August 28 vs Cowboys -- Blue/White
Thursday September 2 vs Buccaneers -- Blue/White

Regular Season (jersey color / pants color)

Sunday September 12 vs Colts -- White/White ***Liberty White Out***
Sunday September 26 vs Cowboys -- Blue/White
Sunday October 10 vs Giants -- Blue/White
Sunday October 17 vs Chiefs -- Blue/White
Sunday November 7 vs Chargers -- Blue/Blue ***Deep Steel Sunday***
Sunday November 28 vs Titans -- Blue/White
Monday December 13 vs Ravens -- Red/Red ***Battle Red Day***
Sunday January 2 vs Jaguars -- Blue/White

Notice that the Texans will not wear White/Blue at home this season. This is a departure from them wearing that look during the first part of the season. I like the fact that they will stick with Blue/White for home games, except the three special games.

Not a big surprise that the MNF game is Battle Red Day/Night. I wish they would wear Red/White instead of the all-red look.

The away games uniform combinations aren't known yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if all regular season road games are White/Blue.

Very interesting that they are going blue/white on games that are not themed. I like it! :thumbup

Now, if they could just get rid of ketchup bottle MNF and mix in some white pants...

Anyone else uninspired by all white day? We suck on that day. We only beat KC with all white.

Anyone else notice that since we lost to Jville on Battle Red day we aren't doing it again this year?

The 'Skins traditionally wear white at home, so probably another blue/white game there.

Still, I like the consistency.

I hate it. I call them surrender white uniforms. I'd rather they go with blue pants and a white helmet for that one game.

The battle red all red is awesome, the white out on the other hand looks like an old man's golfer outfit.

All blue rocks! Question: Don't they wear the red jerseys at least twice a year? So does this mean they'll wear red jersey somewhere? Is that possible?

I wonder if the Redskins will wear white at home. Now that Shanahan is in charge, he could have them wear burgundy for all home games.

The reason I say that is because I don't think the Broncos ever wore their white jerseys at home during Shanahan's tenure there.

Either way, we'll soon find out whether the Texans will wear blue/white or white/blue on the road this season.

Teams are allowed to wear their alternate jerseys up to two times in a regular season. So, to answer your question, yes, they could switch to a red jersey in another game.

This happened a few years ago for the Texans. We had the Jaguars as the final game of the season and the team wore its red jerseys instead of the blue one's.

Gimme red! I want red, there's no substitute for red.
Red! Paint it red, 'cause Steel Blue ain't mean compared to red.
Gimme red!

I'm a traditionalist, what can I say. A team with one winning season in 8 years should be concerned about more important things than color coordinating, but I'm not a big marketing kind-of-guy.

GIMME FOOTBALL!! :texflag:

I Like our uniform choice this year!
Consistent Blue jersey/white pants at home except for special games!
And I would not be suprised if we see all white on the road if the home team is wearing color jerseys...it's a good road look!
I LOVE our special uniform/days

LIBERTY WHITE KICK-OFF....wear WHITE!
DEEP STEEL BLUE SUNDAY....wear BLUE!
BATTLE RED NIGHT...wear RED!

The Oilers used to do that. I say we avoid doing anything the Oilers used to do. ;)

This is about as good a place as any. I broke down. I'm sick and tired of spending money on player's jerseys (i.e. $230.00 for a Jamie Sharper jersey - which is now officially retired). They can't cut me, trade me, PUP me or IR me!!

And for you ****ers that wanna cause me bodily harm, I just made it that much easier to find me.... ;)

I thought the Texans scrapped the red pants last year. Wasn't it the Titans MNF game that they were scheduled to wear the red pants however enough people complained about it that they ended up wearing the white pants with the red jersey?

BTW, the blue pants don't look bad with the red jersey. We did a PS mock up and it looked pretty decent, MUCH better than the red on red which is hideous IMO. The red jersey is my favorite however when it is paired with those red pants I don't care for it.

Actually the first time the Texans broke out the Battle Red jerseys, they wore white pants. It wasn't until that MNF game (where Tony Kornheiser said they looked like ketchup bottles) that they wore red on red. I think they've only done that twice (maybe 3 times).

Thursday night against Denver.

Dang. Am i the only one on the MB that likes the All red? I'd like to see those for most home games. Im not a fan of two diff colors.

All White

All Blue

All Red

I'm with you actually. I always thought the whole red uniform, and red crowd looked sweeet. The Ketchup bottle look is the new black!

We're FINALLY wearing blue at home all year! Woooo!!! Took us eight seasons to get it right, but we finally did! Of course, I'm not counting the All-White for the season opener, which I hate, of course... and Battle Red Sunday, which would be much better with white or blue pants.

I would really like to see the Red with blue pants.
