NFL Draft 2010: Day 1

I have a difficult time believing that Jackson is a better football player than Buluga (who could have played LG) or Williams. Not that Jackson isn't as good a CB as any left. Just that there are 4 or 5 other CBs just as good as Jackson, one who could have been available in the 2nd round.

Oh well, there's always tomorrow night.
 
I'm good with our pick. We needed that position filled by a 1st rounder.

Hope he works out for us.

I think they just had Jackson rated higher and a higher position of need

I don't know if I like this three day draft format.
Now I have to wait a whole day for rd two and three

Kareem is a solid player who can step in on day one if need be.
Physical guy that fits what the Texans want.
I had him in the early second, but I guess the Texans always reach for a need.

I'm not disappointed, just thought we can do better trading down (IF we can find a dancing partner, that is)
 
Not an incredibly sexy pick, but it filled a position of dire need and he played in the toughest conference in college football. I approve.

I don't know **** about Kareem Jackson, but Alabama defenders have done well as Texans in the past so...........I won't rush to judgement.

Look at the bright side, Kareem Jackson gives us another reason to get rid of Kris Brown.

I´d prefer Wilson who seemed to have more upside, but I´m fine with Jackson... but now I´m pretty sure we`ll also select a FS in the first 4 rounds.

Now it will be interesting: HB, OLine, DT, FS -> in which order will those positions be picked?

I´d like Gerhart next, then Lamarr Houston (if he lasts), then Matt Tennant and Myron Rolle in the 5th.
