Season Tickets payment

OK, I found out this info on the ticket manager.

We have the option to pay all at once or in 4 payments

1st payment due Feb 23rd
2nd payment Mar 23rd
3rd payment due Apr 22nd
4th payment due May 18th


season tickets in the Bull Pen are $700.00 per seat this year.

I forgot how much they were last year.
 
They were $62 or $63 last season. Thats over a 10% increase.

I sent in my "John McMullen would be proud" complaint e-mail. I wonder how fast they can hit DELETE on them.
 
You can pay foir season tickets in installments? Wow!

How much do you pay in finance charges?

A lot of people wouldn't be able to afford them without paying in installments. They will also work with you if you are having some trouble getting the money together. Several years ago I was broke and could only get 3/4th of the money together for the final payment. They told me as long as I paid before the season started I could still get my tickets. They wouldn't be the the nice collector tix they send out, but I would get in. Fortunately, I was able to get the money a few weeks later and still got my regular tix.
 
No change in price for me. Corner upper level.

Yay me but I'm trying to expand/upgrade so am waiting to hear a response from the Texans... My family got a little bigger over the season!

You could probably sell them before with the understanding that they will be shipped/delivered when received. Before becoming a Cowboys season ticket holder, I would purchase on Ebay early and they would be sent after tickets had been mailed out.

Unless there is a change this year, the bottom stub is torn from the parking passes are taken at the gate.

Got my invoice today. $4300 for all I own. Think I might puke! I do NOT want to sell, and I have never used a credit card to pay for my tickets. Not sure what I will do this year. Pray for a windfall, win the lotto, sugardaddy???? SOMETHING!! OUCH, OUCH, OUCH!!! Those $ signs sure do hurt!!!!
 
anyone else NOT receive a return envelope in their renewal package?

pet peeve of mine when someone sends a bill, but doesn't include a return envelope.
 
there was a hell of an increase this year over last. 1400 just for tickets and then another 400 for red parking pass. that is 300 dollars more than last year. Kind of a suprise in the economical climate we're in and still lack of a team ever making it to the play offs. I guess I can't complain too much they did send me an offer that if I get atleast 10 people to buy season tickets they'll give me 50 dollars off :spin:

It's $50 off Texans Bucks that you can use on concessions in the stadium. Depending on how many people that can be one game.

I thought the tickets were supposed to be going up 4-5%. Endzones went up 11%. I guess the average is lower since I don't think the 600s or 700s went up. Gonna have to tighten the belt a little over the next few months.

I have a couple questions...

My roommate wanted to become a new season ticket holder. He put his name on the waiting list a while back, and just the other day he received a packet offering three seats in the 600s for $60/game. Knowing that the seats in the 100s around the end zone are $70ish/game, I thought it was a bit high, but that's what the packet said.

My roommate wanted to get four seats instead, so he called the office. While on the phone, he inquired about getting tickets in a lower section. He was told they no longer do PSLs for any section and instead are charging a yearly fee. For four seats in the 500s, he was told it would cost $6500, including fees, or $162.50/game.

Is he getting screwed? What's going on?

I think he may be mistaken about the price. You can buy psl's in a lot of different places. Try this web site http://texans.seasonticketrights.com/default.aspx

Two different guys at the Texans sales office yesterday told him flat out that they do not sell PSLs anymore, and that it would cost him $6500 per year for four seats in the 500s.

I don't understand, I've got seats in section 110 (field level sidelines) that cost me $3960 for four season tix. I wouldn't be surprised if they did not sell PSL's because they are probably sold out.

Tickets are in the account managers for 2011 season.

First payment is due Feb 17, 2011

It allows you to pay the full payment or in four installments.
