I was suprised to see that this thread had not already popped up. Here's to a great game, with hopefully ZERO injuries. And nothing would be sweeter than a Longhorn victory!!!

I kind of feel the same way. Going into the NC game against USC I felt good about it, even though a LOT of folks around me told me we would get beat I just had this feeling that Texas could pull it out, at the time USC was thought/hyped to be invinceable. This game has me real nervous. Bama is a great team and can bring it. I just hope we don't come out flat, we need to go balls the wall. If they play their hearts out that is all I can ask in the end.

Going into the 2005 game you just knew VY was going to go all "VY" on USC. Colt McCoy is a fine college player, but he's no VY. USC didn't have a great defense either.

I don't have a horse in this race...... I guess I would back Texas from a go Big 12 perspective (Huskers Fan).

Just hoping it is a good game.
 
What's the likelihood that Earl Thomas would fall to us in the draft? Would he be BPA at 19 or 20?

If we don't shore up the interior OL or draft a true franchise back then i'd love to see us pick up a guy like Thomas who can be Pollard's partner in crime.

Texas is going to get BLASTED.

I think Alabama could beat a team made up of BOTH Texas and Florida players.

I don't even see this one being close.

And I once thought Colt would make a great NFL QB. Over the past few months, I have gone the complete opposite way. I don't think he can hang in the NFL. Unless he just lands into a plum of a team with loads of talent already there for him.
 
it would be funny if colt wins it on the last play with a td and gets drafted by da raiders...then keye gets tons of email from titan fans, raider fans, and texan fans about showing their teams on tv in Austin.......

I'm not pulling for either team, but I can say with relative certainty that Texas is going to get obliterated. I'd honestly be shocked if this was a close game.
 
Clearly none of you get it...

This game will be no contest, VY's mere immaculate presence in the stadium will transform the Longhorns into better football players than Alabama. And it won't be difficult to see VY tonight, he'll be the one with a halo over his head and angels playing harps in both seats next to him.
