I'd have the Froggies in the top 2. They've been playing better than anybody, on both sides of the ball.

And get USC out of there. They've been getting smoked. They don't belong.

Debated jumping TCU over Florida but didn't. I'm certain that my top four are the best four in the nation. In what order, I'm not sure. Still think Texas is the best. #1 in the nation in defense, #2 in points scored, #5 in turnover margin. Tough to argue with that.

Problem with USC is that whenever they lose, a whole host of teams around them lose as well. They are in the middle of the pack as far as three loss teams go.

I was just looking at the BCS standings thinking how close the Frogs are to playing for all the marbles - One loss by Texas and the Frogs win out ....

As for USC - I cant see a team getting whooped by 30+ and remaining in the top 20 .... Yes other teams lost but they have been getting their asses handed to them lately. Then again there are so many 2-3 loss teams its hard to place them.

What do you think about Bama and Florida scheduling cupcakes this week? They werent even cupcakes. They were less than that.

All of them have a cupcake or two on the schedule .....

I think Texas looks to be the best team right now - the offense looks like I expected it to earlier in the season , the defense has been nothing less than spectacular , the special teams have been very good and they are top 5 in turnover margin. Dont think any other team has made a better statement to be #1.

TCU - All I can say is wow ... they just keep on winning and doing so impressively.

I still dont know. They are a quality football team no doubt. But they have only faced a couple of teams that even have the talent to beat them. MAYBE Virgina, even though they are bad this year. BYU and Utah could beat them, so I think those were solid wins.

But they are a dangerous team who will have alot to play for if they make it into a bowl game, and should be able to play with anyone ala Boise State a few years ago with Oakrahoma.

They won at Clemson, who has a shot at the ACC title.

How can you have a 3 loss VaTech team ahead of a 2 loss Georgia Tech team that beat said VaTech team?

Same thing with Okie St and Houston.

The BCS had them 20 and 21, the AP had them in reverse, at 22 and 18.
The two polls also had GaTech and VTech flipping.

At least OK St. plays in a tougher conference and, thus, a tougher schedule.

Both Techs play virtually the same schedule.

There's absolutely no reason to rank Virginia Tech ahead of Georgia Tech.
