Week 2: Texans vs Titans Gameday Thread

That's the Jacoby Jones we've seen all offseason. Where are his haters
now?? Glenn Martinez is NOT the type of playmaker Jacoby CAN BE.
When this kid gets confidence, look out. He's gonna be on the flank
with Walter lining up in the slot.

The announcer talking about it not being a catch because he didnt maintain the ball all the way to the end is dumb. He is using the rules if jacoby caught it in the endzone. But Jacoby caught it on the 3 yard line. So once it crossed the goal line it was a TD.

He is really annoying and getting on my nerves.

Such good positive vibes I got from this thread, LOL! :pirate::thinking:

Come one guys, this is a game I would have taken the OVER if I was a betting man! :polevault:

I'll say this. There's no way on earth I would have thrown it to Jacoby one play after he blew it like that.

Kudos to the staff for an unorthodox move that worked.

Well, at least this game is going to be entertaining. Gotta admit I was kind of looking forward to a nice quiet blowout but I guess that's not in the cards.

I'm going to go out on a limb here.

I think Shanahan just realized that the previous Steelers/Titans game held some valuable and productive intel for our offense.

There is no need for a Texans running back to touch the ball today.

Let's see if we just air it out all day. I would.

Do it 'til they stop it.

Of course, this IS the Texans. We'll come out in the 3rd and go pass-run-run and punt it to mid-field for them.

This defense has only two responsibilities: stop Chris Johnson and get CONSTANT pressure on Collins. That will win you this game.

I this was a case of indisputable evidence. There was not enough indisputable evidence to overturn it. If it was an incompletion there would not have been enough to get a TD.

I'll go with this as well. That was such a gray area call, open to interpretation. I don't think the rules actually address what happened in that specific case. How do you define possession? At what point are you considered to have possessed a reception? He had it when he first hit the ground, but on the second roll, he lost it. Are you required to posses the ball all the way, like they do in baseball where they hold up the ball after they catch it? Like I said, gray area, so good call not to overturn the initial call.

21-21 before half.

They both can't keep up this pace, guys.

I think we're going to see one of these teams start imploding. And it just might be the Titans--Looked like a sure-fire blowout, and now we've matched them TD for TD.

We even stopped a screen. Planets are aligning?

And I thought the Eagles/Saints game would be the shootout of the day
:shoot:

Way to Rally back boys!!
