Texan Fight Songs...

NitroGSXR

Super Sic #58
Anyone know any if all the Texan fight songs? If so, can we have the lyrics typed out for me to sing to my newborn son?

I can speak fairly well albeit with a heavy Deaf accent. I think my speech is decent enough to verbally sing it to him. Horrendous tone but heyyyy... best I can do! My neighbor's dog howls but RK seems to really love my singing. Ha! Right now I'm singing the ABC song but that's it. I'm tapped after that. I don't listen to music much, ya know?

Be sure to state when there are pauses in between words or choruses. Also state if I need to hold a note with certain words....example.... Home of the brrrraaaavvvvvveeeeee.

Much obliged, folks!

Well the Texans do need a fight song like the Oilers had back in the day. It gives the team and the fans more pride. I don't know of any Texans fight songs that even exist. If so, I've never heard one at a game.

Can you write those words down for him?:fans:

I was about to send him a PM because I couldn't find the song? Maybe it's playing in the background of something?

El Tejano,
I'm Deaf. It would be sincerely appreciated. Also try to describe how quickly the song goes since you said it's rap on your page. I'm assuming that means a really fast song where the words are more spoken than sang? Doesn't matter if it is, I'm definitely singing it to my baby.

There's one. It's called We are the Texans written by Sam Spence. You can find it on the Texans website. I also need help with that one because as far as I'm concerned, it's a poem. I need help determining the pace of the song and if there are notes to be held a little longer and whatnot.

Not even kidding - look up the music for Frosty the Snowman. This song was hated by the fan base because it was to the tune of a freakin' christmas carol, lol.

Well it’s finally here. I’ve been waitin all week
Just to kick this thing off.
I’ve been rockin away on the edge of my seat,
Now I’m ready to roll.
Here they come to mix things up.
Bet your boots they know what I’m talkin about (Speaking).

Let’s get ready to root for our team.
All you Texans, get up and scream.

It’s football time in Houston!
And we’re ready to play.
We’ve got no time to lose now,
It’s red’n white and blue today.

Welcome to the greatest City of all.
Houston Texas!
Are you ready for some football?

It can rain, it can pour, it can snow, I don’t care.
I’m here till the end.
The spirit of vict’ry is blowin round in the air,
We’re gonna win.

I’m so excited that we’re all here.
I love the sound of those home town cheers!

Men, women, girls and boys, get on your feet
Make some noise!

It’s football time in Houston!
And we’re ready to play.
We’ve got now time to lose now,
It’s red’n white and blue today.

Welcome to the greatest City of all.
Houston Texas!
Are you ready for some football?
(Speaking)
Courage…
Pride…
Independence…
And tradition…
Strength

The Texans are about to march.
TORO’s getting ready to charge!

It’s football time in Houston!
And we’re ready to play.
We’ve got now time to lose now,
It’s red’n white and blue today.

Welcome to the greatest City of all.
Houston Texas!
Are you ready for some football?

Well we can always dust off a classic and modify it slightly.

Look out football, here we come, Houston Texans, Number One.
Houston has the Texans, the greatest football team.
We take the ball from goal to goal like no one's ever seen.
We're in the air, we're on the ground - always in control,
And when you say the Texans, you're talking Super Bowl.

'Cause we're the Houston Texans, Houston Texans,
Houston Texans, Number One.
Yes, we're the Houston Texans, Houston Texans,
Houston Texans, Number One.

We've got the offense, we've got the defense,
We give the other team no hope.
'Cause we're the Houston Texans,Houston Texans,
You know we're gonna hold the rope.

Yes, we're the Houston Texans, Houston Texans,
Houston Texans, Number One.
Yes, we're the Houston Texans, Houston Texans,
Houston Texans, Number One.

'Cause we're the Houston Texans, Houston Texans,
Houston Texans, Number One
- Five - Seven - Eight, We're the best from the Lone Star State!
Houston Texans, Houston Texans, Houston Texans
Number One!
