2009 NFL Draft Thread

Tyson Jackson makes sense but at #3, thats a reach IMO. However, Jackson can hold his ground and can play inside and outside the defensive line so hopefully GM Pioli knows whats he's doing.
 
Wow...I thought they'd go Curry, or trade down to get some more action today.

But did not see Jackson going here.
 
After all their problems with WR's last year, I have the Seahawks going Crabtree. But this is the first Sanchez possibility.

Is Monroe a possibility here?

WOW! I thought Pioli was more of an offensive draft guru? Man, I thought they would get Curry!:jogger:
 
ESPN or NFL Network?

I don't really like the NFL Network as much with the departure of Schefter, but Mayock is better than Kiper and I really don't like the obviously scripted friction between Kiper and McShay.
 
I do disagree with that. He's the 5 technique in a 34. The chiefs desperately needed a DE. I think he'll be fine.

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't go Sanchez here, but Curry's a good addition to that defense. What happens to Lofa Tatupu, though?

I'm sticking with ESPN. I just like the feel and NFLN without Schefter seems generic. I just have to mute Steve Young who keeps arguing and crying about Sanchez.
 
Here is where is gets interesting. Mangini has been rumored to do all sorts of things and is highly involved in a lot of trade talks. I think this pick right here will determine a lot of things.
