If the head coach doesn't believe that winning the Super Bowl is realistic, how will the players ever feel that way? Show some confidence, Kubiak.

As an aside, Kubiak's hair is approaching Kiperesque hair height. Also, I love me some Alex Flanagan. Damn you, Comcast!

I thinkl that Kubiak said exactly what he needed to say. He is taking it a step at a time. Since we have never made the playoff our goal is to get there and see what happens when we do. I dont think he was showing a lack of confidence either, I would say he was just showing caution with his words to the public. And you should know by know, that's the way Kubes operates.
 
i agree with Kubiak's approach also, as he said once you get to the playoffs crazy things can happen.

kubiak's right. get in & then think about the SB. anything can happen once you're in- look at the cards
 
You can't win King of the prom if you don't go to the dance. I have no problems with his approach.

Making the playoffs is and should be a goal. Nothing more nothing less. When we finally do that for the first time, anything beyond that is gravy. Besides as demonstrated in recent years, anybody in the post-season can get on a roll and win it all. Too many teams declare winning the SB their goal and then fail to get beyond the regular season.
