Here are my 1st and second round picks after we trade down with Phillie and then again with NE:
34. Clint Sintim
46. Eric Wood
47. Sean Smith
53. Louis Delmas
Anybody hear the Eric Wood interview yesterday on 1560AM?? Guy was impressive. Sounds very intelligent, is a film junkie... I would love for this guy to fall to our 2nd round pick. He's up there on my list for that pick, like Dale!
I'd be thrilled with Jenkins/Wood!
15: LB- Clay Matthews III
46: FS- Rashad Johnson
No, no, no, no way on Moore in the first round. Moore simply is not first round talent at all. Mid 2nd round sure, but no way in the first round.
Agree with you about Barber though.
How'd we get #53? Anyways, I'd take:
34: Donald Brown, RB, UConn
46: Eric Wood, C/G, Louisville
47: Rashad Johnson, FS, Alabama
53: Jarius Byrd, CB, Oregon
I like your picks especially Jenning but many mocks including Lance Zerline has Jenning avail in 4th. I hope they are right as I see him going higher.#15 M.Jenkins/V.Davis - I believe our LB corps has 3 young players in Ryans, Adibi, and Diles who can produce and the addition of B.Davis and C.June should add quality depth and raise the level of competition. Outside of Dunta we haven't really had a great ball hawking guy in the secondary. If Jenkins falls it would be sweet, but V.Davis could be an option as well.
#46 Rashad Jennings - Last season we enjoyed a great season by a young RB and the respect gained for our running throughout the year opened up other players to have big years. AJ and OD both had Pro Bowl Year's as a result of the amped up passing games. Rashad is a bigger back who can grind it out and would be a perfect compliment to Slaton to keep the run game consistent throughout the year.
How many more days until the draft...this stuff is getting old.

My evaluation also. I originally had Moore in 1st on trade down but he pick up some weight and began to slide. I want a NT more than a safety so I am going Raji in 1st or Brace in 2nd, but Moore is a good selection in 2nd.I'd agree with your assessments. I think he'd be a real solid 2nd round choice for us. I don't know much about the new secondary coach (Gibbs) but hopefully he can teach this kid up. I don't necessarily see Moore as a MUST start early in the season, I think he'd be a guy we could groom in but I do think he'd see the field a substantial bit.
The thing about his senior season was that he was playing up on the LOS a lot covering the slot WR. I doubt this is something we'd be doing, I'd think of him more of a S for our team than he was as a CB his senior season. I believe that coupled with an injury made him have a less than productive season.
He just might be over looked as he is 5'8" and 191 lbs but you do have in correct round. To me much better options exist for RB and for he 6th pick.I like the Antone Smith selection. I think he is a good fit for our running game and will be over looked in the draft because FSU has dropped a bit.
And you could be right on target. I'm hoping we get him later so we can use that 2nd for another player. i was pushing Shonn Greene until I became aware of this small school player.I have Jennings as my #5 RB and a late second round pick.
gonna have to change my selections based off inside information I cannot expound!
trade down - 20th-23rd pick up additional late 2nd rd. pick
1st. RB Donald Brown, Connecticut 5102 210
compliment to Steve, gives the Texans a potent 1-2 punch moving forward.
2a. CB Alphonso Smith, Wake Forrest 5090 207
playmaker with great ball instincts, solidifying back-end.
2b. LB Clint Sintim, Virginia 6026 256
could develop into a RDE, little stiff in hips for traditional SLB/WLB. situational pass rusher, instinctive & well coached.
