I heard part of the interview (with distractions). IIRC he said he was known as an athletic O-Linemen, then a year ago (?) his coach (or was it a new coach?) asked him to take a different role and become a "mauler". Some scouts have expressed concern to him that he was a great mauler and wondered if he could do more. Then they were surprised at his level of athleticism in the bowls and combine and his stock has been rising since.

Did I get that right?

He has a lot of private workouts lined up . . . the Texans were not mentioned that I heard.

He sounds like a great fit for the Texans in the 2nd.

Moore was in 2007. I wouldn't touch him...any where in the first round...if he dropped...maybe.

15 to phillie for 28 and 53
then,
28 and next year's 3rd to Ne for 34 and 47... we might have to give them a 5th or 6th also but NE is looking to move up and trade for picks to have in 2010... anothe option would be 28 for 34 and 89.

#46 Rashad Jennings - Last season we enjoyed a great season by a young RB and the respect gained for our running throughout the year opened up other players to have big years. AJ and OD both had Pro Bowl Year's as a result of the amped up passing games. Rashad is a bigger back who can grind it out and would be a perfect compliment to Slaton to keep the run game consistent throughout the year.

How many more days until the draft...this stuff is getting old.

I like your picks especially Jenning but many mocks including Lance Zerline has Jenning avail in 4th. I hope they are right as I see him going higher.

I don't necessarily see Moore as a MUST start early in the season, I think he'd be a guy we could groom in but I do think he'd see the field a substantial bit.

The thing about his senior season was that he was playing up on the LOS a lot covering the slot WR. I doubt this is something we'd be doing, I'd think of him more of a S for our team than he was as a CB his senior season. I believe that coupled with an injury made him have a less than productive season.

My evaluation also. I originally had Moore in 1st on trade down but he pick up some weight and began to slide. I want a NT more than a safety so I am going Raji in 1st or Brace in 2nd, but Moore is a good selection in 2nd.

He just might be over looked as he is 5'8" and 191 lbs but you do have in correct round. To me much better options exist for RB and for he 6th pick.

And you could be right on target. I'm hoping we get him later so we can use that 2nd for another player. i was pushing Shonn Greene until I became aware of this small school player.
 
#15 Clay Matthews III. Would like to trade down a few spots and get an extra pick and still get CM3.

#46 Patrick Chung. Hope he's still there and we take him. SS is a ? right now to me and I like Chung more than Moore. Chung seems to be more of a "lunch pail" worker than Moore. JMHO!

Boo on inside information. I would not be disappointed with these selections. I like Alpho and Sintim. I am not sure if Brown is the right person though. He seems to be a bit of a dancer to me. Id rather go Unger/Mack in round 1 and then grab Jennings in round 3.

Your picks are good but I'd go different with every pick. Mel Kiper said Saturday he likes Moreno K and Brown equally with Brown being faster.
