After a disappointing 8-8 this year, I really look back and wonder what happened.

In 2007, we finished 8-8 with 17 (i think) players on IR, no real running game and a poor OL.

This year, we did much better with injuries, had Duane Brown and Slaton, yet still finished 8-8.

In my book, thats a disappointment. We lost on a coinflip to Jax and threw one away against Indy.

Had we won those 2 we would have been 10-6 with Indy at 11-5 and would not have gone to the post season.

As I look at nest years opponent, I see no reason we can't go 10-6 assuming we franchise Dunta and get a good free safety.

Exactly my thoughts. Lets wait until we see what happens in FA and the draft.

thats the beauty of the question, you can plug in whoever you want from the draft and imagine what it would look like.....

plus my guess now will be just as relevent as the new one i make in 6 months..

I guess but without the combine and draft workouts, we can't even begin to accurately predict what round guys are going to go. But I guess I'll play along.

Give me Everette Brown in the 1st, B.J. Raji in the 2nd, and Myron Rolle in the 3rd. With those pieces, I say we go 12-4.

Heck, I'll say 11-5 now - but I'm reserving the right to change my mind as next season gets closer.

We started out 0-4. Rosenfels helped us lead the league in interceptions and fumbles (which Schaub had his hand in too) by QB. We then finished the season 8-4. That's what happened. Well, that and some coaching screw-ups early in the year. Rosencopter has talent and was fun to watch, but he was a major problem.

I'm the 6-10 guy. Time for a step backwards. New DC, new lot of things. Expensive free agent D Lineman named smith. Crappy first round of draft. Crappy young left tackle. Injury concerns at qb. No viable backup. 6-10
