Texans @ Browns - Gameday Thead

This team makes every defense look like the Steel Curtain in short-yardage goal line situations.

And the Jets score again, lead 34-13. :splits:

That was possibly the worst game I have ever seen.

I think both teams set football back a solid 35 years.

The Texans aren't on here in Austin and they win a road game they weren't supposed to win. So typical....

well pretty good win .. but ill just be honest here

I felt like i watching the annual Battle of the Sucky Teams

Browns/Texans

GO team MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL !!!!!!!!!!!! R U RDY PEOPLE Wear your BLOOD RED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jumpbanan:banana::coolb:

We won, a few good things, possibly some of our weaker plays looked good becasue of how bad they were. But it could be a confidence builder perhaps, next week will tell

Reeves got burned on that one long pass but after that i guess he told himself i wasent going to be Today punk bi*&h of the game

From the Browns main site:

An early offensive flurry was enough for the Texans, who built an early lead and held on to beat the Browns Sunday, 16-6. The Texans got their first road win of the season and their first-ever win in Cleveland Browns Stadium with the help of five Browns turnovers. The Browns turned the ball over four times in the second half, the final time coming on Jacques Reeves' interception of an Anderson pass in the final four minutes.

I just got off a plane and back home. Can anyone tell me how Mario did today? I saw the defense only held the Browns to 6 points and forced 5 turnovers, sounds like a rare good showing from a Richard Smith coached defense!!!

Got some good pressure in both the run and pass D, but no sacks. Almost a fumble recovery, but the ball popped out and went to Adibi.

anthony weaver got a pick. mario's credited with only one tackle, but it was for a 3 yard loss. he knocked brady quinn on his ass a couple of times.

Excuse me, I am hoping you "miswrote" here. I agree that the Browns tried harder to lose than we did today, but I view that as fortunate.

Dammit, every win screws up our high draft pick again! :sarcasm:

God I wish we could win out, so every win didn't put us in the middle of being interested in football in the new year, and contending for the first pick.

Good win today though...even if it was the battle of the teams who tried their best to lose. Great numbers for AJ and Walter, good job there...haven't seen the highlights yet, although from the during match chatter, it sounds like the highlights package is the best way to watch this game.

I am always glad for a win, no matter what it does to our draft status or pick number. I'm looking forward to the day we draft 32nd. :fans:

Congratulations on the win. I wish I could say that the game was a hard fought battle between two contenders with great coaching and execution on both sides. But the truth is the Browns just flat out suck this year. Poor playcalling, execution, and coaching will lead to this type of effort. The Texans made better plays when it mattered and deserved to win.

On the bright side for the Browns-maybe we get a better draft pick. But we'll probably screw that up also.

I've seen a lot of posts this year with the exact same wording, only they were about the Texans. LOL

Good luck texdawg with your team and hopefully your offseason goes well.

I'm still :shocked that this dude ** gags ** was out there making plays. An interception & a couple of tackles for loss? It just doesn't add up i tell u.

If he keeps this up, the coaching staff might actually think he's been worth the money we're paying him or worse................they might want him back on the roster for next year...................:crying::crying:
