They can't run the ball. They have to set up the run by throwing on first down. A lot of it is on the QBs tiring to make impossible plays in desperate situations.

But today...he just sucked.... He missed A.J. on a crossing route, swear to Gaud...by nine feet. Threw the ball nine feet behind A.J. . I don't know where that came from.
After that throw the whole team just gave up. They bent over and spread 'em.
