Football on Tuesday or the early Christmas Bowl.

GlassHalfFull

Hall of Fame
It is so weird to have a football on a Tuesday. With UH in red and white and Marshall in all green (YUK), it makes me think of Christmas in October.

Sorry Greg, it is starting to look like Charlie Brown's Christmas is on tonight instead of Halloween.

Keep the FAITH they can still pull it out!!!! :tiphat:

There are times when I wish to God I was not a football fan. The Cougars and Texans do this to me constantly.

I hope Marshall University is sued for leaving those carts near the field like that. Their irresponsible stupidity may have ended Patrick Edwards career.

That pissed me off too. What's the point of padding the walls if you're going to put metal carts in front of them???? Dumbasses.

Compound fracture.

To Hell with the ****ing idiots at Marshall University. ****ing Bastards.

It's bad enough we can't get into the end zone, but when we finally do you miss the extra point????

&%*%#&*#$%$&!!!!

I like GREEN!! Baylor green!!:) Guess I just pull for teams that suck!!

There is having GREEN in your uni, and there is looking like a stalk of broccoli.

I wasn't able to catch the game but I saw the replay.

Compound fracture in his leg. Done for the year. He's lucky it isn't worse.

On the replay I think they said it was a cart for the band that they forgot to take back with them after halftime.

Looks like UH officials aren't very happy about that situation.

Cougars coach Kevin Sumlin told the Chronicle that while he had "his opinions" on the subject, he would offer no comment on such a dangerous situation. Houston athletics director Dave Maggard said he will pursue the subject with Marshall officials.

"It was duly noted and I think we'll save the conversation for another day," Maggard told the Chronicle. "I don't think there is any question that it is a problem. We all noticed it, and we want to find out why something like that would occur. It was a serious injury, no question about it."

The gym had Fox on 2 TV's for the World Series. As such, and in hindsight thankfully, I did not watch much of the game.

2008 NCAA guidelines:

ARTICLE 8. a. All markers and obstructions within the playing enclosure
shall be placed or constructed in such a manner as to avoid any possible
hazard to players. This includes anything dangerous to anyone at the
limit lines. The referee shall order removed any hazardous obstructions or
markers located inside the limit lines.
b. Any markers or obstructions within the playing enclosure but outside the
limit lines constituting a hazard shall be reported to game management
by the referee. Final determination of corrective action shall be the
responsibility of game management.

In addition to Marshall University being sued for negligence, the CUSA officiating crew should be heavily fined and then terminated.

Good info gwalllaia. I hope serious action is taken against the University and the officiating crew. There is no excuse for leaving those carts there.

Kinda funny...the day after the Ags settle the bomb fire mess something like this pops up. It's always ugly when assume and lazy pops up their heads. I was flipping between the browns vs Jags and the U of H game. So I'll have to go back and watch it. If they are STILL Marshall, they should pick up all of the tab...and the Marshal grounds keeper....he's got to go. This is an unforgivable error. Sorry doesn't feed the bulldog.
