Since I couldn't attend the foot washing down by the Brazos last night, thought I throw this prayer up.

And makes us yell and yell and yell;
So let's fight for dear old Texas A & M,

"The Spirit of Aggieland"

Some may boast of prowess bold.
Of the schools they think so grand,
But there's a spirit can ne'er be told,
It's the spirit of Aggieland.

We are the Aggies-the Aggies are we,
True to each other as Aggies can be,
We've got to FIGHT, boys,
We've got to FIGHT!
We've got to fight for maroon and white.
After they've boosted all the rest,
They will come and join the best.
For we are the Aggies-the Aggies are we,
We're from Texas A.M.C.

T-E-X-A-S, A-G-G-I-E,
Fight! Fight! Fight-Fight-Fight!
Fight! Maroon! White-White-White!
A-G-G-I-E, Texas! Texas! A-M-C!
Gig'em Aggies! 1! 2! 3!
Farmers Fight! Farmers Fight!
Fight-Fight
Farmers, Farmers, Fight!

Gotta have six to go bowling.

You know, Mike Sherman might not be the answer as Aggie's Head Coach.

At least you have Coach Fran paid off. Maybe Sherman can find a job as a O-line Coach next year i8n the NFL and you can get away with a cheap buy-out.

Sherman might not be the answer but its deffinately not time to close the book on him , this was his first recruiting class .... most of those players are Fran's ..... Gotta give him at least three more seasons before you consider going in another direction.

Anyone else watching the game? A&M's defense is non existent, but really the offensive is looking pretty damn good. Maybe there is some hope for the future.

No, we don't have to give him a chance. This year has been pathetic. It's time to bring in a real coach.

Who would you replace him with?

In a surprise move they fire him and hire Dom Capers HC, Richard Smith DC, and Joe Pendry OC.

Kidding. Seriously though I'm not an A&M fan but gotta give the guy more then a PART of a season. At least this team hasn't bellied up 77-0 to OU.

Well, what I'm seeing is a guy still in the "I" when he stated clearly last August that he wanted to go to a spread. So what we found out two weeks ago is that they don't have the depth to run with the big dogs. And they don't have the skill guys to run a spread. You could take a lesson from the tea sips. There were a few who wanted to run off Mack Brown after the first two seasons. Let the guy recruit a couple of classes and keep your mouths shut. They've got to recruit better. That's the bottom line with the Aggies. And the worst enemy of the A & M program is that GD 12th man club. Too many pseudo experts at the pot stirring things up. They're worse than a sewing circle.

While at the KState game, I heard this theme repeatedly. Both in the tailgates and at the game. You are not a lone voice crying in the wilderness.

A&M does not have the talent at WR to run the spread. Hell, their back-up QB's have to play in the slot.

They don't have the talent on the OL to run the I.

They DO have a hell of a QB for the future though. As I said earlier in the season, the Ags would be best served to put McGee on the bech & give Johnson experience this year.

He is going to be another solid QB in the Big XII.

They also need to recruit better. Coaching isn't their problem. They have good RB's, one good WR, & a good QB. That is it. That is the extent of their talented players. Now why is that? Because they can't recruit anymore.
