Flying in Saturday night for the game Sunday, wheres a good place near midtown/downtown to watch the Longhorns beat up on Mizzou?

BW3 over in Rice Village is a good place. I don't think it's called BW3 anymore ... Buffalo Wild Wings? Someone can tell you.

Also, I haven't been there in a while, but Two Rows (also in Rice Village) used to be a great place to watch a game.

Lets go Horns!!!!

21-0 Horns and ... that highly touted Mizzou Offense has 1 first down and about 25 yards over the span of four possessions. If the Texas Defense plays like this the rest of the season ..... they can easily win out.

Its now 35-0 Horns .... they just went 90 yards for another score after stopping Mizzou on fourth and 5. I think they are making a statement with this one ....

35-0 baby!!! Now how you like that action Corrosion!!?? :kingkong:

Muschamp has done wonders with this defense and is clearly better than advertised. I don't know if Applewhite is making a big difference with the play calling or what, because Greg Davis since last week has been calling a lot of really good plays that are working. The Longhorns are pounding on Mizzou like they are the Rice Owls or something.

Hookem Horns baby!!

Yeah they're definitely making a statement. But I'd also say that Missouri is not as good as everyone thinks. Last year Missouri played no one good and was ranked highly. This year they've ridden that "success" to the top 10 ranking they had. Now the cracks are showing.

I'm pretty shocked at the score to be quite honest , No way I would have predicted this.

After watching part of the Tech , A&M game earlier , I think the only game on the schedule that has me worried is OSU.

I'm playing out the scenario's as to a title game with Texas ans ..... PSU , Bama ..... hate to say it USC and would it be possible OU reaches #2 at some point ?

Before this game started I thought their chances were pretty good that they'd lose one of these next 3 games (Mizzou, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech). After watching this, I'm starting to think that they'll run the table. This is just crazy.

I totally agree. Oklahoma State and Kansas are the only real teams that scares me after this game as far as what is on the schedule. I know that TT could always make an upset, but I'm just not to worried about them.

If Texas does go to the NC, then right now I would have to suspect Penn State because of their easy schedule. However, they look really good all around that entire team. They look for real, but I think we could beat them. I think BAMA will lose one eventually, and if we were to play them, I would feel real good about our chances because they won't have the offensive fire power that the teams that Texas will have already faced.

But man, I can't believe this score at halftime.

Penn St. Struggled today to beat Michigan .... at least for the first half. They are a good team but I dunno if they can run the table either . The are at Ohio St. next. Ohio St is a tough game , even tougher at home.

I'm guilty too TS. Still got aways to go. Everyone is over looking Kansas too. That's a trap game if ever I saw one. Riding high just ran the table and so close to the BCS championship game you can taste it....Jay Hawks jump up and bite them. They burried the OU game in a ritual last week. If they are lucky enough to get by the next three they ought to duplicate the ritual.

I thought the fans were pretty classless and singing the tigers off. Ok you brutalized them. Extend the home win streak to one hundred and four years over them. Knocked Daniels out of the Hiesman....singing "Nah,na nah na goodbye"...what is up with that ? I'll never be a true orange blood I guess.
Pretty classless a-holes in Austin. Not all of them...but just enough.

#98 would look real good in Steel Blue.

I have to agree. Rak is the top senior DE in this class, with only Hardy being in competition if he comes out. I'd give him the edge because there are no questions about his motor and commitment.

It didn't show up on the stat sheet last night, but #98 was amazing. He constantly forced check downs when there were big plays open downfield. Plus he almost had a safety, and forced a pick.

The only question I have is consistency. Why hasn't he been doing this for the last few years?

Man o Man that was a good smash job. Chase Daniels didnt know what the hell was going on. The crowd made it impossible for them to communicate.

FYI Greg Davis still calls all the plays. Applewhite is the RB coach and assistant head coach. LINK

The Texans need a Mushcamp.

That guy has got the fire!

Yup there it is. Did you see the end of the game where the UT reserves allowed a TD? Muschamp was all over the DB that allowed it, yelling and screaming at him. UT was up 28 at the time and Muschamp is yelling and hollering.

We need someone with that kind of fire

I have to say, the Mizzou vs UT game was so electric. Our entire family was so hyped up (even the lil Aggie).

I love getting huge wins like that. It sends a huge morale boost all throughout Central TX and even further. It's really refreshing to see the Horns playing some serious ball now.

I say Colt McCoy for President '08! :D

Assuming Colt McCoy keeps playing as incredibly as he has been this season, does he declare for the draft?

He tore up his knee last year when he got chop-blocked illegally in the first game of the season.

Prior to that, he was stuck in a rotation with Crowder & Robison. Hard to put up numbers when you have to come out every two plays.

I'm glad to see you guys are coming around on Orakpo. I've been tootin this horn for quite a while now.
